    This is a fix it yourself tutorial video to temporary fix for the wiper motor to wiper linkage mechanism for the Peugeot 508 Mk1. This is an temporary fix only, as the joint will eventually wear out even more until the point that the whole motor needs replacing. If all the procedures is done right, there will be no need to re sync/ reprogramme the wiper system using DiagBox.

    Hi! Great and informative video, thanks! This looks like it will fix my exact same problem, but what do you mean by "stowed position" - at 2:31?

      The stowed position is the fully down position that the wiper can go. As there are electronics inside the motors that detect the angle position of both wipers to prevent them from colliding with each other. If one side is not aligned properly, the wiper on other side may not work.

    Hi i had the same problem and changed the motor on the passengerside.
    Now its working but now is the problem that i cant turn them of. I can change the speed on them but they wont turn of until i turn of the car and lock it.
    Does Anyone know how to fix this problem?

      Some motors may need to be reprogrammed with diagbox to operate normally.
