I absolutely LOVE the 2011 with Kooks headers. That to me is what a hemi should sound like and that's what I'm gonna go for when I hemi swap my 78 power wagon.

But in all seriousness Carven direct fit mufflers are the way to go. I was a dedicated Flowmaster fan before switching over to the Carven Progressive direct fit muffler and it has the absolute best sound!

I put the 40 series on my 2019 Ram. I like the rumble and I don't get that crackle sound on acceleration. Love it.

Thank you for the videos. I just got a 2018 RAM 1500 express with the 5.7L Hemi. Factory exhaust on it still. I traded in my 2015 F150 5.0L Coyote V8 pickup with a Muffler/resonator delete and a Flowmaster FlowFX muffler installed with the factory single exhaust setup. Sounded super aggressive, but I think on the RAM I want to go just a touch milder.
Trading in a 5.0 coyote is criminal lol

Man, I love these comparison videos. My 19 Bighorn is too quiet stock. I like the race bullet, but then again I also dig the Magnaflow. I'm in Alabama, so it wouldn't be that much of a drive to get to y'all, I wouldn't think. What part of TN are y'all in again?

Love the channel, been following for a while, from red oak Iowa here. I have a 2020 ram 1500 5.7 bighorn midnight edition. Replaced my single muffler with a flomonster from Holly "their version of a heavy aluminized steel super 10" still made by flomaster. Then it y pipes to the factory resonators and tips. Was thinking of going true duals and I do have a second flomonster already just sitting around "ordered one they sent 2" my question is, if the stock pipes comming out of cats are 2.5 then why not just go dual 2.5 back to each muffler? On vids they always up it to 3 inch when that is what it is after the y pipe.. is there any reason not to just go 2.5's dual to each muffler?

magnaflow, headers w/carven and Gibson sound really good
I went with JBA titanium ceramic shorty headers, Flowmaster 40 series and an S&B cold air. The truck is the best sounding and most livable (not obnoxious aside from cold starts) that I’ve had, love it. I will say the sound changes noticeably after a few hundred break in miles on the Flowmaster 40 series. Unfortunately your video doesn’t give an example of the 40 series broke in. Also I added the headers after the cat back and they didn’t change the overall volume much, just slightly deeper and more “open” sounding.

Red truck at 10:22 is factory 3 to 2.5 concentric reducer to a 4inx14in magnaflow magnapack that is 2.5 inlet to 2.5 outlet connected to a stamped 2.5 to dual 2.25 y pipe to factory out... Correct? Please confirm!
I have a 2011 1500 5.7 hemi and can’t decide which set up I want....they all sound great! If I had to decide right this second I think I would go with muffler and resonator delete and just go straight pipes...
It will be loud af! I have true duals on mine..3 inch all the way back to 4”tips with shorty headers. It’s obnoxious to say the least lol.

The only thing I don’t like about those rams is that bumper I hate it within little round, cut ends for the bumper for the exhaust. I had the 06 5.7 hemi and I added Flowmaster 40s cat back with the at the end. It was true duels at the end. It was two double wyes centered I had a lot of people tell me that look really really good and it sounded good too.

Never been a fan of magnaflows. I like the Flowmaster and Borla systems. Mine is the single pipe SLT 5.7 and I want to keep it single or drop duals out in front of the rear tires...but money. Probably just run 3.5" single pipe front to rear with a Flowmaster and no resonators...wonder how that would sound...video please? Lol also want to do shorties but again....money...and even exhaust manifold leaks later worry me.
That’s true you can’t really talk on the phone or with the passenger when you got headers and straight pipe, I have pacesetter headers with straight pipe (y-pipe).

I been contimplating the 40 series the outlaw and the super 44, and I've read the super 44 is the most aggressive sounding. I don't really recall a super 44 being done on any of these yet what are your thoughts on them? You said the super 44 sounds as if it should from factory?

Did you keep or delete the resonators? I’m getting mine next week and shop wants me to delete. I don’t want it too crazy loud….and definitely not crackling and popping like some of the stuff on here.
@@CapeFearConstrictors910 I kept them on didnt want it to crackle. I have a cracked manifold so next video will be with stainless long tube headers and this muffler.

It was still too quiet? mines is a 2020 and i kept my resonaters and it sound good especially a cold start. I was told not to cut them off because it will sound like a sports bike if you get down on it that popping sound

i may have ask this question before but have any of your customers done a dual inlet 2.50 and dual outlet 2.50 super 44 on a 2017 Ram 1500 5.7.....
Those magnaflow magna packs sound really good.If you turned off your traction control you would have burnt some tires.It was funny to watch considering it was fucking wet pavement.
