  • 60% of Americans are one paycheck away from homelessness. That's over half. Why do you think that is? Is there a solution?

My heart goes out to anyone going thru homelessness. It's debilitating. It takes your dignity and your humanity. I pray that one day soon no one is homeless, anywhere.

🙏🙏🙏 i am living in a shed on someone's property and now they sold the house.Re-homeless should be added to the dictionary. Once homeless, it's almost impossible to get right again. Most people are totally clueless how homelessness works. I am speaking about normal, working people (not drug addicts, etc)- Keeping in prayers to every one going through this. I empathize with all of you. Keep me in your prayers as well. Never lose hope. ❤🙏

We need to stop sending our monies to other countries we need to take care of our own.

In Canada, we have the working homeless. They're holding down jobs, but they don't pay enough to afford them shelter.

My disabled daughter became ill after living in a mould infested house for 13 years, with no help from the owner or agents. House became uninhabitable, my daughter now has ovarian cancer, so I am spending my small inheritance from my late dad on housing and caring for her and her family. We will all be homeless again in 11 weeks. Terrifying.I am 72, sick and sad. Praying for a miracle.

I was homeless with two little girls under age of 6, thank God for the Lear camper I had on my truck because girls and I loved fishing, we lived in the back of my pickup took showers at the gym where I had paid for 3 year membership up front the year b4, thank god for that. A wonderful Hispanic family who didn’t speak English took me and my kids in, 2 weeks later I had a job! I gave them 1/2 of each pay check and saved the other 1/2 it took me 3 months to have enough to get us an apt. I always keep the Hernandez family in my prayers and will always be thankful to them for helping me someone they didn’t know , couldn’t speak my language yet we understood struggle.

  • @chrisnanopoulos9905

Tragic! No one should ever judge anyone else. These things could happen to anyone.

  • @dragonballspaghetti154

People could learn a very valuable lesson from these videos and that is to be grateful for what you have because you could lose it all the next day.

  • @_Wolf_Shadow

It appauling that people call homeless people "bums" when really they are just in unfortunate circumstances.

  • @catherinesigurdson4189

I never have to wonder. I've been homeless. One good thing. I had a car.

  • @factchecker-cb2gy

What kills me is those who look down on people like this as if it couldnt happen to them.

  • @eetoved1758

Dude. Yes, the quick decisions, things falling through, and the rug pulled out from under.... That is how i became homeless.

  • @Steven-vq8lm

It happens just that quick. God bless them , and you for sharing their stories.

I was just let go from my job end of October. Fortunately, I live in my late parent's home. It took over 4 weeks to get my unemployment. I'm in Ohio and the weather is pretty cold. My electric was supposed to get shut off week before I finally got unemployment pay. I was luckily able to get an extension. The week prior to getting unemployment I was only eating a can of soup or beans every couple days. I'm 52 and never thought my life would end up like this. I'm severely depressed and spend days unable to get out of bed. Most days I really don't even want to wake up. People in America shouldn't have to struggle like this.

  • @Willmaysay1234

This has to stop! People should be allowed time to re-establish without being kicked to the street. And there needs to be a cap limit on rent cost.

  • @annieoakslee

This is where money should go...not illegals. America first......and how many vets out there......shameful

  • @VitoVeccia

I've lost jobs before too. Was also on the streets too in the past. I feel for these people. Luckily for me, I have skills that overlap into other trades. Construction and automechanics overflow into other areas. If you are a truck mechanic, you can transition into cars. If you are a carpenter, you could get a job as a laborer. I didn't realize how lucky I was years ago, that having multiple skills would save my ass many times over. Hence why i tell people, it's important ( especially at a young age ), to diversify yourself. Just in case you need to adapt. I've had many good jobs, were the owner dies or retires, or the company gets bought out.

  • @Rachel_Lol_

I'm about to be in this same situation in the next couple of weeks. I've never been in this situation in my life. Im terrified
