I am glad he is not working for some garage, but working as co-owner. Rob deals with the side of the business that Chris doesnt liike.

That looked a very complex engine but you guys got to the root of the problem quickly and found a solution albeit temporary. Not a great indictment on the ingenium engine that it is basically toast at only 100k, would expect a modern diesel engine to be capable of at least twice that mileage and then some!

Love Chris being more involved in the videos, personally I’m not very good talking in front of cameras or people, well done Chris for overcoming this

That was an absolute delight watching that video!! No disrespect Rob, but Chris is certainly a fantastic motor engineer - the extra hours he put put into sorting out that crankshaft and recording it was truly amazing. At the end of the day it’s team work - the both of you, stunning content. Superb.👍👏

This video just flew by. Extremly enjoyable, and the way you both work together and figger things out is both respectful and admirable. Have a great week end and hope you find the engine you want. Bless you both.

I seem to remember when these were new they had DPF issues, and were doing regen all the time, diluting the engine oil.

Brilliant video! I enjoyed the section with Chris cleaning up the crank journals. I'd completely forgotten about that technique. I'd love to see more stuff like that, very interesting.

Doesn't need an engine. Change the bearings, clean out the DPF and you'll be good to go.
Run it for a 1000 miles and if it's still good, get it gone 😎👍

Hi guys 😀 so good to hear Chris getting involved with the mic 🎤😎. The man is just a bloody talent when it comes to mechanics 🧰I did laugh at the string trick🤣. Reminds me of when I used to lap the valves on a head, it was the most boring job ever 🥱🥱. Great video as usual boys 😎
