looks good I would try next time
Yes, we had been trying to get there for the last couple of trips. We finally made it this time, on a drive around the island. Next time, we are going back and will try most of their Hawaiian food (but will bring hot sauce).
Thank you for sharing. I love the description of the Lau Lau. Glad you enjoyed it.
We really enjoyed it. When we come back, we're going to go back and try some more traditional luau foods. But we're on Maui right now, and don't think we'll be coming back to Oahu until Thanksgiving time.
I need to try this place. 🌺👍🏼😀
Yes, we tried to get there the last couple of trips, but finally made it out this time. Next trip, we're going back and plan on having a whole bunch of their different foods.
@@steveandyoung sounds like a delicious plan! 🍍
We’ve never had poi but now we know where we have to go! The pork sounds great too! -S
Yes, this is a bit of a drive from, say, Waikiki (anticipate 45 minutes-1 hour), but it's worth it.
Hello from Canada! New subscriber here!
Never been to Hawaii, but my parents go every year. It's one of the top places on our list! What interesting food. Good video, thanks for the review!
Glad you like it. You should make it out to Hawaii sometime. We love Canada, been to Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal, and we thought that the people there were particularly nice. Also loved the local foods in each of those towns! Tried to make it out to Bampff a couple of times, but have not yet been able to get there.
@@steveandyoung Banff is only an hour away from us here in Calgary. We tend to take the Rocky Mountains for granted, but if you're not used to them they're pretty spectacular. Banff always has some interesting restaurants.
@@FlukeyFood When I was younger, I was in a musical group. They used to travel, and they talked incessantly about how beautiful Bampff was, the wildlife coming up to you in the streets and eating out of your hand. Always made me want to go there.
Surprisingly I’ve driven past this place for 30 years and never tried it. The mochiko chicken at Waianae store is pretty good, give it a try next time.
OK, we'll give that a try next time we are up toward the North Shore (we usually go at least once to Haleiwa each trip because we love Kua Aina).
Love their hot kulolo too! I always have to take a log home to cook with.
Yes, and paired with the haupia ice cream, it was just heavenly!
@@steveandyoung haupia everything yummm 🤤🤤
Pepper water!
Pepper water, the secret ingredient to unlock the Laulau flavors at Waiahole Poi Factory! 😀
Who doesn't like kalua pig! It's basically keawe smoked pulled pork.
As a boy, I didn't like it. Didn't like most pork (except bacon).
