    For an Electrical box I see #8 and #10 sizes X 32 required. Could you explain why the inch measurement is not used and numbers are in their place.

    I'm trying to figure out what thread I need to fit a 2 inch npt bunghole in a 30 gallon barrel. I need a fitting to fit the bunghole that will have a triclamp end to connect to a triclamp fitting on the end of tigerflex milk tubing

    Hi, just noticed on your thread pitch chart for Metric threads there is no fine thread dimensions for 1 to 6mm bolts. Do these exist, I would have thought so. Cheers

      Fine threads are very uncommon for metrics (unlike Inch). They do not exist unless it’s a specialty for 6 and below. Thank you for watching, let me know if I can be of further assistance!

      Metic will be labeled iso for standard.
      Standard is just what's more popular.

    What happens if you put a fine thread bolt into a course thread hole? And vice-versa?

    • @BoltsandNutscom
      @BoltsandNutscom  Před 3 lety +4

      Hi Luke, great question. They will not fit because the threads won’t match. If you force it, it will cross thread and will most likely ruin both fasteners. I hope that helps! Thank you Andy

      @@BoltsandNutscom what if the holes dont have any thread? I've recently tried to put a m14 x 2 x 100 bolt into a hole that's supposed to accept a m14 x 1.5 x 100 bolt. However the bolt I had didnt fit into the hole. What should I do?
