I love your idea to help anchor your greenhouse with soil-filled grow bags. I bought a greenhouse from Aldi’s and my plan was to zip tie it neighbor’s cyclone fence and use pavers to anchor because my yard is paved.
I had one via amazon that sounds like the one you used to have, green with the checkered pattern but no screen. It only lasted 2 seasons before the plastic started flaking away. I even put it away during the off season to keep it from wearing out.
Hmmm. Think I'm going to modify mine from within with white vinyl lattice glued on to fortify the back panel & to screw it securely to my wood fence through the plastifabric (Idaho gets windy). Reflective blanket along that side as well. Heavy sand bags or stacks of bricks on its skirts to hold it DOWN. Since the zipper seems untrustworthy, I'll probably find a way to sew or glue a strip of something appropriate to (or around) the door, & attach magnets to best effect. When I eventually buy a more long-lasting sturdy greenhouse, I'll alter that one too, and then move this one inside that one, hopefully without the need to screw it to an adjacent structure.
I ended up getting rid of it! Got sick so I haven’t been able to update in all the months since but you’re right, that lattice really makes all the difference in fortifying it. It was ripping all over the place with the most minor wind and I was fed up and returned it!
