My daughter just made dandelion cookies yesterday! Wonderful spring treat!! We have a combination of earl gray, green, and roasted dandelion root tea every morning. Delicious and got me off of coffee. We put a creamer that is almond milk that has vanilla and a little stevia in it. Do not miss coffee at all. We used the dandelion greens as the bitter herb for our Passover meal, as well. Try to remember to be consistent to add them when I make fresh salad, too.
Such a healthy plant, always curious as to who labeled it a weed and convinced so many that they need to get them out of their yards.
    Great video, sister!!💗

Our yard is really a dandelion garden. I'd been wondering how to use them.

I've been hearing about dandelion root for a while now...I've been battling stage 4 cancer that spread to my liver...so, needless to say, I WILL be trying this...they grow rampant in my yard!

Love, peace, and joy in you. I wish you a healthy speedy recovery ❤️❤️❤️. I just watched a video on how we should not eat meat? He talks about the benefits of eating berries, melons, and other fruit. He talks about fruits that help deal with diabetes and cancer. I can share the video link if you like. He talks about gut health.

Thanks for the wonderful content! I went for an hour long walk and picked some dandelions from my yard afterwards. I just washed them, added a little salt and ate them raw. The greens are a little bitter, which probably means they are good for cleansing and digestion. I am going to eat some everyday for as long as they're in season because "You are what you eat". Think about how STRONG a dandelion is. They don't need anything from us. No watering, weeding, fertilizer. NOPE! They will literally grow through the cracks in the concrete. Now THAT'S how strong I want to be. Thanks again!

Thank you for the info and great video! I'm going to try these. Not for any specific reason other than to get healthier. Psalm 104:14-15 ;)

+1 for the Daniel fast. Eye opening to see what you are addicted to when you stop everything and just eat vegetables. A few days in and staring at a plate of weeds I just did not want any part of this but as you start eating it is really good. I think it is your body saying; "Give me moar, I need this stuff..."

I have been juicing the leaves and the flowers. I also pick the flower and eat them like chewing gum.

I eat the flowers that develop on all of the herbs that I plant .. and even the flowers on the green onions .. they taste so good! Also, there are some purple violets that grow wild all over my yard, and I ate some of those too. Yes, the flowers DO look so pretty on top of your salads, or any other meal. : )

You can also collect the flower buds early in the morning. Wash and ferment "pickle" for a wonderful faux "caper".

Lots of that now in my backyard…it’s just bloom yearly like a wild grass,
they always pull it 2x a year together with grass cause they treated it like
just a grass. But it’s automatically went back at the end of springtime.

Add purple violets to your weed picking. Much less bitter and still very nutritious.
