- Changes in environmental mercury levels have been dramatic in recent decades; industrial exposure to mercury is significant and mostly comes from coal burning and chlor-alkali plants. The more mercury we are exposed to, the more we are likely we are to be toxic. The main ways that humans are exposed to mercury are from contaminated fish and dental amalgams or silver fillings. And while some of us are very good at detoxifying mercury and other toxins, some people have genetic variations (called polymorphisms) that make them more prone to metal toxicity. Mercury can affect nearly all your organs, especially the brain, heart, kidneys, and gut, and many chronic diseases may be caused or worsened by mercury, including neurologic disease, ADHD, autism, heart disease, autoimmune diseases, and more.

38 years ago I was pregnant with my son and had a tooth infection when I was about 1-2 months along. I knew nothing about the dangers of mercury fillings at that time because dentists ALWAYS said it was perfectly safe!!! The dentist filled my tooth with quite a bit of mercury. I remember a couple of weeks later I started spotting and rushed to the emergency room. I retained my pregnancy but when my son was born, he was born with his bladder on the outside (Bladder Exstrophy). It is a fairly rare birth defect and I had no idea why this would happen. After becoming a huge researcher for many many years, I came across medical journal articles saying that mercury placed in first trimester of pregnancy can cause neural tube defects! MERCURY IS TOXIC!!!! My son has had to pay the price of this "big lie" put out by the dental association and has had 26 surgeries to date due to his birth defect!!!!

I recovered from FORTY EIGHT YEARS of dental mercury poisoning. I recommend using selenomethionine (or selenocysteine?) at least 600mcg. I myself used very high dose 3600mcg) but only because I had **exceptionally** high mercury. See my other comment here for links to the definitive suppressed research on the matter. PS: Lipoic acid is very harmful for anyone with (untreated) merc poisoning. Ignore people going on about how wonderful it is. I certainly didn't take a second tablet.
Heavy metal issues are ignored as government, corporations and dentists don't want lawsuits and doctors and hospitals don't want to lose business treating the permanently sick.

One silver filling was placed in my mouth at 8 weeks pregnant with my first child at a military facility in 2010. Both my children have been diagnosed with autism and other developmental and behavioral delays. I myself am experiencing many of the symptoms mentioned. It has been a complete struggle parenting. I'm scheduled for removal tomorrow and very hopeful.

I've had "silver" fillings for almost 20 years and me cognitive and physical health have done nothing but decline. I just love how she completely glosses over the fact that these newborns are being poisoned by certain injections 💉 that they get before their immune system is even fully developed...and this is on top of whatever toxicity that was passed on from the mom to the child in the womb or via breastfeeding!

My son met all his milestones but at 3, he completely disappeared into autism.

I not only had Several amalgam fillings since childhood.

When I was a child, my father kept a little glass aspirin bottle full of mercury in his desk drawer.
Why ??? he did this with 5 small children in the house is beyond my understanding.
Being a curious child, I would sometimes take the bottle out and pour the mercury into my hand.
Sometimes, I would spill some of it on the floor or in the desk drawer.
I did this many times from the age of 5 to about 10.
I have no memory of washing my hands after I touched the mercury because I had no understanding that it was dangerous.
As an adult, I have often wondered how the mercury exposure impacted my health.
Same here. The small jar was kept in the garage and my dad would let me take it down to ‘play” with it. It was easiest just to poor it onto the kitchen table to push it around.... the VERY same table that my mother would make bread on. Yuck.

This was very informative. I have been wanting to remove the nine remaining fillings I have had for over 35 years now. Tuna was the only fish I ate for quite some time. My health is complicated by three chronic illnesses, lupus, fibro and arthritis. This could be the explanation for 1/3 of my issues. I am speechless.

I was eating tuna when YT recommended this. I have fibromyalgia too. I was given SSRIs for pain. It was awesome and helped so much. Until I maxed out the dose and it stopped working, so they switched me to a different one. It was absolutely horrible. I am now going through severe withdrawal from quitting them. If you are not on any SSRIs, don't start them. I am in complete agony.

My family immigrated into the US. We were ignorant and listen to this one dentist because we could not afford another dentist. He put mercury fillings in all the children. Now I am pissed off.
I've been in chronic pain for over 8 years and whenever I ask a doctor to check for mercury poisoning they charge the subject. I wish my insurance paid for functional medicine. Thank you so much for giving me a sliver of hope. It's been a long road of over 8 years.

Call your insurance and ask if that test is covered. In on medicaid and I had to push my pcp into adding heavy metal testing. Had it done twice and came back negative. I'm 45 and had over 20 fillings at 18 and 5 root canals over the years. Many fillings were chipped at times. I've had massive health issues since 20yrs old.

There was only 1 dental office for me that tried to allude to the fact that they were dangerous without actually saying it outright & going into any detail (as i was totally oblivious to what was going on around 2.5 decades back). Yeah I’ve had that problem also. So you get diagnosed and try to detox with the recommended supplements and find out you’re getting harmful chemicals in the supplements. TITANIUM DIOXIDE, MAGNESIUM STEARATE and many other harmful additives that can even affect your DNA along with many other bad effects. That really makes me angry. Health care products should not have anything added that WILL harm the body!

I only had one filling in my mouth, but it was amalgam, and years ago, my biological dentist and hygienist both had on a hazmat suit when they removed it, lol. I have an appointment with a functional medicine practioner, and think I may get tested for mercury. I do Dr. Lawrence Wilson's red light sauna therapy (photobiomodulation) protocol for an hour daily (going on 2 years now) of sweating and sweating and sweating, so I would hope this has helped eliminate heavy metals.

The most important factor in acknowledging mercury toxicity that I could learn is that when you look at the affinity of mercury to occupy Zinc gate receptor sites. I believe it was your studies or someone with the same last name that revealed this. All NMDA receptors have these zinc gates on them, and mercury will occupy them. When an individual learns all of the characteristic traits of mercury toxicity, they are identical to zinc deficiency symptoms. I do not believe this is a coincidence. Thank you for sharing and posting.
Look up Dr Boyd Haley and the compound called Emeramide he developed to chelate mercury and other heavy metals.

Not so much, but covers metal toxicity in the environment, different industries, and covers their effects physiologically, and on behavior.
There should be a class action lawsuit! There is no excuse for this continued abuse. People were lied to about their "silver fillings".

Thank you for all of this information. I have asked so many Drs why if I have Tuna fish 2 or more in a one week period I will get an Optical Migraine headache. Not one of the Drs had heard of a possible connection. I have a long list of health issues including Fibromyalgia. Thanks again.
If you are aware that tuna can be linked to your migraines..then what you need to do is refrain from ingesting tuna for at least two weeks. Then sit down and have tuna. When you are done eating, time your self for ten minutes or do and write down what you are feeling in those ten minutes. Keep a daily journal write down what you eat or drink
What meds or over the counter meds, etc. you ingest. The times that you enter anything into the body. If smells bother you write them down and what effect they have on you. Feeling stressed or sickly write that down, too. You will be able to pinpoint what and why things are causing problems. Also check the book" The Yeast Connection" by Dr. Crook. Good luck...take care.

Do you think people in Japan naturally produce higher levels of glutathione and detox mercury much more effectively? Statistically they are one of the smartest healthiest countries and I find this somewhat conflicting.

It's scary Drs are not up to speed on this issue at all. Because of you suffered this personally, your knowledge was so much more detailed and methodological (obviously because you were her "teacher"...) So glad you kept insisting on inserting so much incredible detailed information and anecdotal stories. You're clearly dedicated to this cause. But other Drs just won't have the same insight... Which is disturbing, It even seems to be suppressed because of the legal/liability issue with Lead fillings... This interview is telling me these Doctors essentially don't exist!!

I had serum (blood) mercury levels of 1201 ng/mL (that's one thousand, two hundred and one). My toxicologist said it was the highest level in the medical literature. That was over 11 years ago and I am still struggling. I have had anaphylaxis and SJS multiple times from different drug classes, as well as chronic fatigue most days and pain.

Hi, just ran across this. My dad passed away at 68, he was diagnosed a yr before passing with ALS. He worked in mercury cell dept for yrs at PPG ind, till they shut that dept down. He had to fight to get tested for mercury but did and mercury was in his blood. My whole family has autoimmune disease, my mom just passed with long term leukemia and RA. I fight many things, the worst is fibromyalgia. We’re on the gulf, so lots of seafood…much less after finding out about mercury. I no longer have silver fillings. Was just wondering how many ppl with very high mercury followed with ALS. When I was taking col silver, organic sulfur and the “horse” stuff to detox of these things, bad bacteria, fungus. Now his doctors are saying it is environmental toxicity, but they can't find the source. My sister has been helping out because I live further away, so I did not get the notice that his diagnosis had changed. My cousin is 78 and hanging on, but paralysed now from the neck down. I asked my sister yesterday to see if his doctors had run a heavy metals toxin review. I worked 30 years i high tech and saw my share of people getting contaminated from solvents. We knew the risk of working around open wave solder machines. I do have some sensitivity to certain solvents, but feel fortunate I am ok at 73. My mother had a mouthful of amalgam fillings and died from ALS in 2008. A few years later, my reflexologist got ALS. She too had many amalgam fillings. Two weeks before she died, I asked her if she had researched the cause of ALS. She told me that she did, and that a doctor in Colorado had established the link between mercury amalgams and ALS, that the mercury started an autoimmune attack on the central nervous system. By the time that diagnosis is made, 50% or more is destroyed.
If autoimmune diseases are that prevelent in your family you should really get on the carnivore diet. Everyone I know that has done the change to that diet has cured their autoimmune diseases.
These two are rare few who are getting us back on track even if not all or every issue can be addressed here, they have to keep "on topic" or everyone is confused and info. overload happens, they can speak on newborn poisoning from injections in later videos, but they are probably next best equipped to speak on that topic..
All you can do at this point is detox and just do the best you can to keep u and your family healthy , and ask God Almighty to have mercy on your body.. Just pray for mercy because we are SURROUNDED by this stuff.
Your kidneys and liver detox your body just fine, by seeking out alternative detoxing methods, you’re just insulting them. Those detoxing methods don’t even work anyways, so save your money your kidneys and liver have your back.

They accumulate in every single system in your body, especially your brain. They even accumulate in your liver and kidneys... And chelation drugs like DMPS and DMSA are PROVEN to detoxify your body from heavy metals, so I don't know how you can say detoxing doesn't work...
@@tankjones513 go ask any doctor and if you have a condition consult them for treatment options, my aunt is a dialysis nurse believe me I know quite a bit about it but if your body is totally fine then you don’t need any alternative detoxing methods. Also detoxing in dialysis is done by machines it’s not some miracle detox supplement, which if you don’t know what dialysis is it’s basically the treatment you receive after your kidneys fail you usually due to diabetes or something that you did to your own body, obviously there are conditions that you may have no control over but in most cases you do.
@@achooblessshoo9415 yeah but that's the issue, traditional medicine does not even consider heavy metals as the cause of MANY conditions or makes a preexisting condition worse. They don't even give it a second thought. Traditional doctors will gaslight you into thinking it's all in your head or it's your fault. As for dialysis I know what dialysis is. Also, when they're talking about detoxing heavy metals they're not talking about sketchy over the counter supplements, they're talking about DMPS and DMSA chelating agent drugs. Detoxification with chelating agents works and has been used by doctors for acute heavy metal toxicity for thousands of people, is safe and has even been used on children who were exposed to heavy metals. As for the "detox" supplements you're referring to, I agree, definitely do your research and know exactly what you're putting in your body. Too many people think that a company that produces a miracle supplement that promises all kinds of benefits don't realize that they're just in it for the money and basically are giving you a sugar pill. Not all of them, but a lot of them.
@@tankjones513 I agree that some metals are definitely an issue for health, but with the understanding I have of chemistry not all metals are bad for us and some are even good for our bodies and some are totally neutral and don’t affect us at all, so honestly not something a ordinary healthy person will have to worry about but if you have high amounts of dangerous metals in your body totally detox to your hearts content. Most people are afraid of metals and other chemicals that they don’t understand it’s exactly why understanding chemistry is important, some of my family members are so obsessed with detoxing and miracle elixirs that they ingest silver supplements, which doesn’t fix anything but silver isn’t really harmful either it’s just neutral, the only issue is that if you ingest enough you’ll eventually turn blue.
My dad was a heating and ac guy and I played with mercury out of thermostats..

About 5 or 6 years ago I had several amalgams removed by my dentist and don’t believe they were removed safely or with any special precautions. I also in the same time frame had a root canal performed with great hesitation. Afterwards my health steadily declined with immune issues, fatigue, tinnitus, insomnia, brain fog, memory issues and poor focus. I’m looking into functional medicine and a holistic dentist because western medicine and dentistry are not only so narrow-minded, but downright dangerous!

Everyone on the planet needs to be using a binder every single day. I personally use zeolite clay, a combination of large and small particle zeolites. I've only been using for 4 days now, and I'm already seeing a difference in my health. It's going to take at least 3 months on a high dose, 15mg per day, but I'm committed to detoxing heavy metals from my body.

Great discussion! I have eaten hundreds of cans of tuna in my lifetime, had a head full of silver amalgam fillings gradually removed, and wonder how much mercury I have absorbed. Maybe that explains my numb toes and buzzy nerves? I have eaten increasingly plant-based over the last few years and now try to get my cruciferous veggies in every day, along with garlic, onions, supplements, etc.
May I pls ask are amalgam fillings safe to remove ? I have one and really want to remove it and it’s been over 10 years since I have it. But a bit worried to remove .
@@trinityp8575 They should be removed, but only by a dentist trained in the proper methods to safely extract them without releasing lots of mercury into the patient and even dentist, as my dentist explained to me when he removed a mouthful of my fillings over several visits.

Plant based will slowly kill you. You need animal protein. I lived the nightmare personally thinking going whole food plant based diet was the best thing for my health. Just the opposite.
@@cg1811 May be it depends on personal constitution? There are yogis in India and Tibet living of few grains of rice and some 🍁 till very old age perfectly fine…healthier than anyone in the Western World …with no animal food content what so ever.

I work in a crematorium. We have a machine called an abatement system which collects mercury from the fumes given off by the cremator. It regularly spews a mixture of mercury and activated carbon into the air in our workspace. I’ve been worried about it for a while and think myself and my colleagues are all showing signs of poisoning or at least high exposure. I did bring it up but was ridiculed.
Quit. Now. Wash cars. Do anything but you cannot further detox so don’t use or be near all pesticides, dry cleaning, or petroleum.

Metallic taste and the other symptoms point to severe allergies and chemical sensitivitys. If I were you I would get literature on candiditis. It sounds as if you have an overgrowth of candida throughout your body. Dr. Crook has a great book on this parasitic invasion of the body.

Last mercury filling was removed, not safely over 4 yrs ago. I went to bed in good shape and woke up with pain everywhere.
Started detoxing immediately and it started to work, but then I plateaued. I've tried over and over and I'm still in a lot of pain.
I also had a hair analysis done about 2 years ago and found that I still had a little mercury, but I had even more aluminum.
I am drinking a water high in silica because multiple doctors online have said it gently removes the aluminum. I now am thinking of getting a CT scan of my teeth because I have multiple root canals and they could be at least part of my problem. There are no Functional doctors near me, or biologic dentists but I will start checking an hour or so away in Colorado Springs.
Look into OSR or NBMI there is a facebook group.
Dentists that aren't properly trained in amalgam removal will often leave amalgam under the new filling.

I'm listening to this realising that a Mercury filing fell out over a year ago. It felt fine and I don't have a dentist at present, post covid the UK is suffering a shortage. The thing is, my health has been steadily improving after years of poor health - I wonder if this loss of a Mercury filing is part of a current recovery I'm experiencing??? Food for thought indeed.

So, dentist used tge sheet in my mouth each time, but no oxygen mask. Im in Scotland, struggling with my health..please pray for me.
Take selenium (selenomethionine) which is direct antidote. I suggest start with 200 micrograms, then maybe more if symptoms suggest needed. Avoid lipoic acid. till body levels reduced.
That's my experience too; no oxygen mask; and I wonder if I made my situation worse by having my mercury fillings removed like that.

I got tested for heavy metals and gadolinium is the only one that's off the charts. If I ever need another MRI I'm going to have to tell them I'm allergic to it. I had severe anxiety issues and unexplained fibromyalgia symptoms for a couple decades. I was on keto for 14 days eating anchovies every day . Something happened to me. I started shaking vision went blurt I felt like I went brain damage . I was like this for 6 months . I recently had a cavity fixed where the dentist put amalgam and left mercury that was on the good half of the tooth. Within a few days of having that tooth worked on I started having a funny taste in my mouth which I thought was metallic. Back and forth with various dentist to end up at a holistic dentist where I replaced all of the work and put in amalgam and had two other Mercury fillings removed. All done with the proper protocol for mercury removal in a holistic dentist office. I thought that would fix the problem but I find myself still having an odd taste in my mouth. I also suffer from a hiatal hernia so my doctor is saying that that is possibly the cause. I'm at a loss as I was convinced it was from my mouth that was where the issue started and I fixed what I thought was the problem and here I am still with the problem. Any thoughts on this?
Ask the holistic Dr. to check you for Candiditis. It sounds as if you have chemical allergies. The mercury has already leached into your body. I am so surprised that he didn't suggest getting tested for Candiditis or chemical allergies. Good luck....

How do you test for it? I called the Poison Control Center and they said to go to the emergency room and they will test me. I went to the emergency room and the doctors refuse to test me for mercury poison. So now I'm looking for a lawyer to sue that emergency room because protocol was from the Poison Control Center to go to the emergency room.
I'm currently at the medical gaslighting phase, where my symptoms are apparently somatic and all in my head. I don't buy that though. I'm at the start of my detox journey. We'll see if it is in my head or if I'm actually carrying a toxic load that needs addressing.

My sympathy have been awful. I know an old filling is leaking. Ive gone round in circles within the medical and debtal system for 5 years repeatedly saying i suspect the tooth. I have an auto immune disease and i knew it was reacting to this metal in my mouth constantly. It gets so high the metal levels that i lose all functionality, mental focus and even get mentally disorientated confused with high panic. I just emailed 5 holistic dentists. I Know i can detox my body once the source is gone.
