My husband committed adulteries and has filed for divorce but lying and said I had an adulterous relationship. He is also an elder in the church, SMH. I do not want to reconcile but I do pray for him and his deliverance.

He have a long and successful career, find a younger partner to screw. Divorce him get custody of the kids and half of whatever he has. Evil takes very good care of itself, especially if it’s within the Chuech.

Hello, I have a couple of questions.
How can I reach out to you directly?
For me I only ask questions that are helpful to recovering, specific details don't seem to be helpful for me.
I have such a difficult time with triggers, I don't need more.
I have asked the questions that I need, why? What did she give you I didn't etc...
I know the kind of lover my husband is and this is difficult enough.
I truly respect the work that y’all are doing. But I’ve seen more than just a few women cheat on men, sob oceans of tears, guilt the dude into staying, and then within a year or two divorce the dude, take the kids, the house, and way too much alimony. Do you have safeguards against this in your program. My main advice for reconciliation is it get married in an at fault divorce state, get the most solid prenup you can, and if he or she cheats, get a solid postnup before trying to get back together. Especially if you are the man, because the court system sincerely hates you. I wouldn’t do anything toward reconciliation until the cheater has no financial motivation in the matter and will get nothing at all if he or she cheats again. Sound harsh and unfair? Well,evidently promising fidelity in front of God means nothing to you, so perhaps the strong hand of the law can slap some sense into you.

Avoiders just keep running from themselves or the problems

My wife's first husband was YOUNGER...he wanted to do everything...but he had no knowledge. Her second husband was OLDER...he knew how to do everything...but he could not do anything. She is now married to me...her third husband...a former IBM Salesman...Pam's complaint is all I do is sit on the edge of the bed...and tell her "How good it is going to be!" :) :) Sometimes...a little humor...WORKS!!!
I absolutely would not "help" my spouse grieve after they stepped out. Nope, not me!

Here’s what I don’t understand: why would you encourage the betrayed spouse to help the unfaithful spouse with grieving their affair loss? That is not a weight a betrayed spouse should ever need to be a part of. The unfaithful spouse needs to get therapy yesterday and grieve in that space, not with their betrayed spouse

Oh what a terrible fight we just had over his stupid fk phone. It went off and he accused me of wanting to know who it was!!! Which I.didnt ask, u see he is so deceiving of wanting his privacy bc he knows he's doing something wrong. He wouldn't believe me that I wasn't checking on him.
You have every right to check on him. I wouldn’t even begin reconciliation without complete transparency-access to online accounts , all passwords for all devices. no unaccounted for excursions (he goes to work, he comes home, period) Complete block of the AP. If she is a co-worker, he transfers or quits and finds a different job. Grieving for the AP is to be done before he’s allowed back in the house. If he takes more than a couple weeks, serve him up a nice warm meal of divorce papers. Reconciliation is under control and grace of the betrayed. You did it, you own it, you eat it.
You work and earn your way back into the family you risked.
My husband and I live in the same house but we don't sleep in the same bed, but we do hug and kiss if I ask him. He does have a violent Irish temper. When he gets mad he will say I don't need u in my life and it hurts deeply. He lies to me all the time and denies that he has anything to do with her. I know bc he texts her,bc he was texting on his phone minutes ago! I just want him to be more patient with me and not compare me with her.
Do not let anyone come in between you and your relationship goal. Get them back to you and make their love strong like the ocean
