I'm trying to grow gourmet mushrooms, like the ones that only fruit during rain. Growing them on logs is also a good option. The best option in my opinion cause they'll fruit for years. Trying to get shiitake variety. Will get oyster mushroom spawn in a few days and starting the experiment with it first. Look into log inoculation. It's really interesting. Also, wild edible varieties are much tastier than the commercial ones.
