- It's the latest Shmeemobile, the brand new Lamborghini Huracan STO and now @Shmee150 takes us on a full induction tour of all the details and a run through the complete price list of the options found on this bonkers supercar!
Freshly collected from Lamborghini Pangbourne, the STO is the full track RWD version of the Huracan and in this case in a totally wild specification. Finished in Viola Bast, complemented by 20" Hek wheels, yellow calipers, satin exterior carbon fibre, and an interior in black Alcantara with yellow details. It's been delivered directly here to @TheShmuseum where number plates have now been fitted and we can take a look at everything like the operation of the Cofango, the items provided with the car, how to use the Ctek smart charger and more.
It might also be interesting to join a run through of the options prices and exactly what this car cost also, with the options quickly stacking up over the list price to make something stand out and very special.

Shut off all the lights in the barn. Turn on the headlights of all you cars and the bring the lotus in. I just cant imagine what an amazing view it would be. Its just a fantasy. Btw congrats on the lambo.

@stivesyy You absolutely right. Every car has such unique headlights and seeing them glowing in the dark is wonderful.
I think a pin strip of yellow around the air intake would be great rather than fully painting it yellow.

Absolutely! Around the scoop and trailing the top of the shark fin. The full sticker pack from factory looks quite tacky. I hope he doesn't go ahead with havin the yellow highlights all around as he mentioned in the reveal video.

I would leave the roof in bodycolour. Gloss black will hide the intricacies of the engine cover. Add a yellow pinstripe to the end of the snorkel and top edge of the shark fin.

Agree! the detail on engine cover looks cool as is and it would be sad to diminish that look with black.
It would be such a shame to cover the roof. It looks so good in the bodycolour! And maybe the doorpulls in yellow instead of red.

for sure. I thought the black roof would look cool when it was being specced, but seeing it "in person" now, the paint looks so damn good on the roof, it'd be a shame to cover it up. Could try vinyl first, to see how it looks.
I don't think I have seen a shmeee this excited and happy and with a very unusualy big smile on the face whilst taking delevery of a car wow that's pleasant
The colour is stunning, I bet it looks insane in person! I would keep the accent modifications to a minimum and just do some pinstripes to highlight certain angles/features. Parked next to the 675LT will be awesome!

I would definitely keep the accents in vinyl. I think it looks great as is, and I'd want to live with yellow accents for a while before committing to them in paint.
I think we would need to ask Shmee to put his GoPro at the back, so we can also see the tyre/tire pressure in action

Painting the accents yellow doesn't make sense, wrapping them is the way to go, you can never get the beautiful carbon back if you paint it. You might change your mind in the future and the resell value will be much better if you have the original carbon bits untouched.
Also you can change the accents in the future, turquoise and dark pink are an amazing match, white also would be incredible, purple as well, so many colours match the pink, you can change every year :)

Tim please go vinyl! The spec as delivered is immaculate! I'm unsure if you plan on reselling the sto as it will climb in value as vehicles go electric. I think it would sell best in its current spec. Just my opinion. ✌🏽

This looks amazing, Vinaling the accents will give you the option later on to change any aesthetic you don't like. But it just looks fabulous as it is, best colour in your fleet followed closely by your 675LT

I agree. It's such a rare and gorgeous color. Would be a shame to "permanently" have additional paintwork for the accents done.
Hi Tim, with regards to trickle charging - I wonder being from the VAG family you can enable the 12V cigarette socket to permanent live? On a lot of VAG cars you can bridge the associated fuse to an alternate position which changes it from ignition live to permanently live. Perhaps worth looking into?
I would guess there is a harness with the charger that can be permanently attached to the battery & routed to somewhere easily accessible to plug the charger in.
Good on you for being transparent about the price. I think you’re quiet humble despite being very fortunate. I’d like to think I’d be the same whether I own 20 dream cars or no car at all.

I vaguely remember talk in the past that the STO was going to be the car mainly used for going to tracks, but in this video Tim mentioned that he wasn't sure if getting all the track stuff and roll bar was worth it if it was only going to be on a track once or twice. Did the plans change or am I remembering wrong?
I think you should add pin stripe yellow accents on the 'black' sections to add a highlight and accentuate theshapes without overdoing it. Keep it looking very classy and the base Colour is STUNNING. The interior has subtle yellow accents so it would be much more in keeping with the interior.
However, I do appreciate that this is YOUR car and YOUR choice to do what you want. I just think that the 'yellow' accents and black top you had planned now seem sacrilege after seeing the 'whole' car in that stunning shifting colour. Yellow pin stripe accents would work better in my opinion than much larger/thicker blocks of colour that would detract from the rest....
At least with Vinyl, you can change your mind and try 'different' options...

At first I was a bit skeptical about the color, but seeing it on the car, it looks CRAZY, I love it!!
Been waiting on this one since yesterday. This V10 engine is such an icon and the sound it makes is a symphony. On top of that, it comes in a really stunning package. I do agree in making the top part of the car black as you intend to do in order to make the car appear lower. Can't wait for the final touches to be added on. This car is such poster material.

i think keeping as much purple and carbon on that car is the way to go. any yellow should be accents, pinstripes, etc. just my opinion. either way love the car and so proud of you my guy! your channel and collection are amazing

With regard to the planned yellow painting: i would go for Vinyl.
If you don't like it, it's easier to get changed again and it helps to protect the car parts against scratches even further.
It looks exquisite as it is in my opinion. Would not add the yellow outside but I understand ur point of wanting to do so. Looking forward to a autobahn/nurburgring trip with this car. Congrats amazing garage mate cheers 👍

It's a fair compromise from 4k to 1080. 1080p50 doesn't do your content any justice. It's not fair to all your work not to give it at least the 1440p60. Thanks again
