When I was on the Atkins diet years ago when it was trendy I invited my own crustless pizza. I took Italian sausage and made a large thin patty baked in pan. After cooking until almost done I added the regular pizza toppings and finished cooking. Tasted great!
Same. I still do low carb and I'm guessing that homemade tastes better than manufactured lol. My "pizza bowls" were really good also.

Have you tried Banquet pot pies, lately? They are all crust with a tiny spoonful of filling. They are so vacant of filling; they are hard to microwave without overcooking.

The Red Baron deep dish 2 pack frozen pizzas are some of the best I have ever had from the freezer section.
If you want something actually good along the same idea, dump a can of stewed tomatoes in a bowl, put in a decent amount of shredded mozzarella and sprinkle on some basil, microwave it for 3 minutes. It's like a "pizza soup", but actually pretty good. Have some nice dense bread to dip in it and you've got a really good lunch or dinner.
Yup, you can replace the mozzarella with a harder cheese if you want a bite. I use Provolone.

Honestly, we used to make "Pizzas" with white bread, cheese and whatever leftovers we had in the fridge. Surprisingly nice and filling. Chuck them under a broiler flame till the bread is toassted and the cheese is golden brown in spots. Great drunk food as well, just don't forget about them :P
The amount of sugar (dextrose) is there rules them out for keto or carnivore, or for any human consumption IMO. I'm going to try the keto/carni pizza recipe you posted. Awesome video!
Keto is for children with epilepsy. There's nothing wrong with carbohydrates. They do not make you gain weight, the only thing that makes you gain weight is eating more calories than you need.

I've been ReviewBrah review the PapaBowls from Papa Johns. Not surprising that these turn into a soupy mess...Almost like the crust is there for a reason. If I want a low carb pizza, I just use a low carb tortilla as the crust and make it myself.

Wow! thx for the review of these. I can remember eating banquet chicken and also the pot pies as a kid and teenager and loved them. Seems banquet has drifted a bit on some of their offerings. What a mess!
The pot pies are still good but they have changed. They now only have a top crust instead of top and bottom crusts, and there is less filling. I do still enjoy a turkey pot pie for Thanksgiving.
The beef and chicken have crusts on top and bottom..the small size at Walmart, I always buy those..I can’t find the big ones like we got when I was a kid in the 90s..

Banquet has always been bottom of the barrel. lol. Their little TV dinners used to be $1 before covidflation. I remember back in the early 2000's when they were two for a $1.
I remember the real TV Dinners that came in foil trays with foil tops, before microwaves were more popular than an iPhone. They tasted different back then. Life was slower you had time to wait for them to heat up in a Real Oven.

To each their own but if you could take them and exchange them for something I would. Trans fat is absolutely horrible for you. Not too mention it has pretty much your daily allowance of saturated fat but only half of your protein. I'm genuinely concerned for your well being if you eat those but you do you.

Should say for use with bread🤣😂, I've made with cheese crust, tried cauliflower crust but messed that up but still good with spoon lol, funny when I make big batch sauce/gravy I put some in a bowl with aged asiago, mozzarella, mushrooms, olives, pepperoni or whatever have, and eat with spoon and hunk garlic bread🎃, it holds me over til dinner lol. I would put a layer of pasta such as rigatoni and then take the Frozen crustless pizza and put the whole slab in a baking tray on top of it then bake it so all the cheese and toppings melt into the pasta. ( of course boil pasta first)

banquet USUALLY doesn't miss. i'm making one of my favorites tonite. Banquet "family size" meatballs with zesty marinara sauce. here's how to do it some justice:
heat the oven to 425
Heat the meatballs and sauce in the microwave as directed on the packagaing.
meanwhile, boil up a decent portion of spaghetti
once meatballs and sauce are fully cooked, let it sit in the microwave
put a few pieces of five cheese texas toast in the oven and cook those for about 8 minutes
once spaghetti is cooked to the consistency you enjoy, drain the noodles and dump the pasta into a tupperware container with an air-tight lid
empty the tray of meatballs and sauce over the spaghetti, put the lid on the container, and give it a good shake. let sit for 3 to 5 minutes while the bread is heated and, if you want to make it a little more healthy, throw some spinach leaves and a sliced roma tomato in a bowl and toss with cheap italian dressing
removed bread from oven and ENJOY!
i can usually get two big dinners out of this and i would say that the total cost per serving is roughly $3. WORTH IT!
What is the point of flipping, grilling, rotating, spinnning , putting it in a special tray etc etc etc - spending all that efforts and doing all that extra work for slop made of inferior iingredients when you can buy real ingredients on sale and make it yourself? You ve invested time, money and labor t when t you could havecontrol all the ingredients and made it the way you like it in the first place?? I'll never get that.

I typically just make a pizza on a low carb tortilla. just sauce it to the edge with pizza sauce, top it, bake it at like 400 for 7ish minutes. long enough for the cheese to melt, but not long enough for any unsauced tortilla portions to get too crisp.
I think the pepperoni one can be used to make a quick bagel pizza.
I would never but them, but I do think if you were to eat it with the scoop tortilla chips it might be better. I know that makes mediocre chili taste decent, and makes good chili great.
There’s a local restaurant where I live who makes a keto pizza with a crust made of almond flour. I’ll take that over these crustless pizzas or the cauliflower crust.
The pizza restaurants make those around here. They started selling them years ago during the adkins diet craze. They're pretty good.

I’ve tried making my own at home. It turned out pretty well.
We have a Marcos like a block from my house. I'm not proud to admit how often I get a pizza from 'em, but it's pretty good over all.
When I want pizza but not the carbs, I get pizza sausage links from a butcher or meat market. Basically everything from a sausage and pepperoni pizza stuffed into a natural casing.

Thanks Larry. They do look tasty and sloppy. If you want a tasty, low sodium lunch, get ya some Sabrett Skinless Beef Frankfurters (OK, hot dogs). 140 calories and 380 mg sodium. I checked all the hot dogs in the store and they have the lowest sodium. Wegman's New England style hot dog rolls have 200 mg sodium per. You might be able to find lower. Bon appetit.

Man, i am carnivore, but that one you made looked really good. I would have to try it. Like a lot of my friends, if I was going to cheat, would probably be pizza.
I'm a proud carnivore, and traditionally would never eat some weird "veggie option" of something. But one time I was ordering groceries online and accidentally got one of those cauliflower crust frozen pizzas. I decided to cook it up for a laugh... I was very surprised at how good it was. I think it did have SOME wheat or something in it, but it was mostly cauliflower crust. It's tastes a BIT different, like, you can tell it's different. Has a slightly sweet taste. But if you had handed me that piece of pizza and didn't tell me, never in a million years would I have guessed the crust was made of anything other than normal wheat pizza dough.
There is a vegan sandwich shop near me and their Philly Cheese Steak is one of my favorite around. There’s actually only one that’s better and it has meat but 2nd place ain’t bad for vegan.
What if you put it on a crust like Boboli as a pre-made toppings for an artisan crust?
Put the frozen pizza soup on the crust let thaw for a couple hours then bake at 400* for 11 min.
So, spend about $10 and an hour to cook something twice just to end up with something that's not even as good as a $7 frozen pizza that only takes 15 minutes.
