- I took my BMW S1000RR to the racetrack for the first time and here's what I learned. Get tips and advice when riding a motorcycle on the track
Do you want to improve your riding skills on the street or track?
Are you tired of all the hype from Yammie or others about street riders not skillful enough for the track?
Does a street rider with two decades of experience have what it takes to compete on the track?
You decide...
It was a members-only day so we had the entire motorcycle track to ourselves. It costs thousands to be a member at this track so I want to thank @Theshayman for hosting. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Awesome effort for your first track day bro - you should be proud of yourself!! thanks for the tips too 👌😎☘️
Track Day ✅ Next stop Yammie 🤣
@@BMWBRO lets goooo!!!!🔥💪👍
Well done! You did awesome, especially for your first time. I'm impressed. I'm pretty sure I caught one of your most recent videos, early in the day. When I went to watch it and it was no where to be found & I went thru all of your vids. It showed your bike what looked like up on a wooden trailer.???
No that was the m1000RR I think. It’s a short
@@BMWBRO hmm, I must be losing it. I'll look on your home again. Do you have two bikes?
Good tip on weighting the pegs.
If you use your leg's to lift you up and off the seat those transitions start looking cleaner instead of looking like hopping.great video.
i love that track!
great ridding brotha
Bad habits picked up from diving traffic hahaha. Good shit though man. Keep it up!
Going to have my first 20 minutes on TT Assen tomorrow. I have learned a lot from this video. You have yourself a new subscriber!
Thanks for being here BRO. Enjoy it 🫡😎
Good job BRO!!!
Great vid, always wanted to practice on the track. Great advice. Thanks Bro!
Pretty good first day. Body positioning and smooth lines are key
Thanks bro 😎 🫡
Thanks Bro 🔥🔥🔥
great video i had no idea the track was so expensive
Great video Bro
Looking good fundamentals are very important great work bro.
Thanks BRO practicing rear wheel drifting next time 😙🫡
Shits 10x harder then ppl think… never did it with bikes but used to have customers who ran auto cross… they had really fast cars and could drive but the old guys in their Miata’s would wear them out cause they actually raced often… lol
they get on my ass for looking backwards😂😂
hell yeah they do lmao
@@stevenbuteaux 🤣🤣
Yea member days are great 👍 😎
Great vid BRO! It looked like you had a blast! I'm sure it was a little intimidating riding with a legit track guy. He looked EXTREMELY comfortable out there and had his tuck/form nailed. My question is, how did it feel to run hard rip those turns and not have to worry about cars and you know whos? I'm sure it helped with your focus.
The BRO doesn’t get intimated. But yes he’s fast and a little boring with no cars to slice. 😎
Dragging the knee (especially for the first time) Is fun.. elbow.. awesome, until moments later you drag shoulder and the asphalt pulls you off the bike.
Good tips! Going to come out and catch the CMRA races at the end of the month? Going to do more track days? (found you through the link in AK's channel)
What’s up bro thanks for stopping by. No shoulder dragging here. IDK it’s alright but $9500 + a bike is why 99% of people don’t ride track. You guys can take me out whenever though 🫡😎
@@BMWBRO I stopped racing around 2017, I had sold by BKing bought a track ready SV650 and a pair of track ready EX250s. if you want some fun and track experience, find some guys with a 300cc endurance racing team who are looking for more.. get a race license and have some fun!
yer bro was legit clowning on ya, driving one-handed while he was in front ... that's just mean! ROFL
But! You rode ~your~ ride, got better, and didn't crash, all with a shit-eatin' grin, so that makes it a good fkn day 😊😎
Yea he is on another level but he has no theme music tho 😙
@@BMWBRO Let's make him some!! NaNaNaNa--NaNaNaNahhh BIKEMAN!!!
Time to get a track bike.
Great video. Your boy was rolling!
Hes’s fast. 🫡😎
Proud of you Bro ! You did great on the track. Did you notice any improvement outside of the track when riding daily after your track day ?
Yes I am looking for cops less 😎😙
🤘😈🤘🔥🔥🔥
Looks like slippery cement. Looks fun still.
5000 sounds like to be a member at MSRH. You can do trackdays at Ridesmart which is $200 a day. Also, you can do mini bike racing at kart tracks. TmGP is one we ride on. Groms and 65s race there its good fun
You are right about MSRH bro. Ridesmart and 316 are cheaper but too crowded. 20-40 bikes every weekend. Will need to make friends with more members 😙😎. Ride safe BRO
Holy crap, what is an "Initiation Fee" and why the hell is it $5k? What organization/club is this?
Exactly they think they’re the mob or somethin’ 🙃
@@BMWBRO That's absolutely insane. I can't believe people pay that. I've never heard of track or organization fees that high. Not even close.
First day on the track and on this bike is not the time to press it too hard. Get a dedicated bike and abuse it
Why not? For some people a Honda grom is a luxury, for others a bmw s1k is just pocket change. I have no idea what the OP income is though. Nevertheless your point I think it's invalid.
@@lphyxsius Its not about his income it’s about having a great time your first day out by avoiding a bad day.
