You want him to get hurt for a bike?
@@salmaabdullahgb You think he will get hurt...? 😮
@@MichelBiesot If someone is willing to steal a bike that blatantly in broad daylight, I think carrying a knife in that backpack is not the most unlikely thing in the world. Either way, a stranger's bike, or your own, is not worth the risk to find out, now is it?
@@allasar Look at his videos. Bro's got issues lol
That's why th D-lock should be through the frame and the wheel.
A determined thief will always find a way, but there no need to make it easy for them.
Better to use air tag. Then at night pay a visit to the storage unit it's being hidden too. Most of the times it's their shed , or they lock it near their house to check if anyone comes to recover it. Easy beat down then hehehe
If they can steal so can we. 2 wrongs make a right.
@@gravefrightn5720it's not wrong to take your bike back so it's not stealing it's the reacquisition of personal property
I also never leave my bike outside for a long time. My bike has a sticker registered with the police if it’s stolen . I have a very small device hidden inside the frame so im warned if the bike has moved and show me the exact location of the bike on map. It has triple D lock kryptonite. Battery is removed, the main dash to control the bike is removed as well, the control is also locked with a passcode from my iphone. Wheels are locked with the frame.

So much potential.
British cops will give him a medal.
The thief saying “what’s wrong with you”😂
The old-timer was disgusted to see the world dying, but he's like, "No way I survived 8 decades to die over a bicycle."
Shameless ones are the ones who've stood by and watched.

Just don't forget to Lock and load when you leave the house this morning.
Or just put a tracker in the bike. I'm sure someone will invent one that you can put inside the tubing and use the metal of the bike as an antenna.

Did people really just stand by and let him steal? Pathetic
If they tried to stop him they will likely be charged with assault once they touch him.
It's OK saying that, but we don't know how violent he is. He's carrying a bag of tools that could be used as a weapon.
In the U.K. you Will be prosecuted if you use force to keep him from stealing the bike and will receive a sentence 2 to three times what the thief will receive.
@@tomrichard2756 So don’t touch him, keep recording and sit on either the bike or the rack so he can’t take it out, then the onus is on him to touch you if he wants to continue and you have proof. People make excuses so they can be cowards

Pipe cutter to the bike rack, thats a clever one. Guess I'm only using thick lamp posts now 🤷♂️
you wont get a U lock around one of those
@@baade6010 Yeah I use a kryptonite 790 folding lock, in combination with a kryptonite disc brake lock. If they get through the main lock, they still gotta carry a big heavy ebike by hand lol Folding locks may not be quite as strong, but they let you lock to more secure things
Guns prevent this.

The police, if you can really call them that, in Canada tell citizens to leave their effing car keys by their front door so thieves don't have to go through their house to find them, they just have to break through the front door. It definitely makes my top ten list of the most ridiculous. Whatever Chief Chump of police came up with that one needs to resign.
Who the hell said that
@@fjfjfjfhfjfhdj it was the Toronto police chief, now he's being mocked, rightfully so if you ask me.
To be fair in my city they have CCTV now just for auto theft, they just got these trailers with a generator and a long pole with cameras and put them in parking lots that have problems. Idk if it's doing anything though
😂😂yeah come in my house please
We had a similar campaign here in the Netherlands, telling people to put their car keys, wallet, phone and such easily available/visible on a table in your living room at night, so burglars can just get in and out quickly.
Also, at the same time, after 10000 burglaries, the Dutch people had made exactly ZERO arrests since they still had ZERO suspects.
I wonder why? Almost as if you make crime easier, it becomes harder to solve at the same time. But that's probably just some weird thought.
It's not a bike thief, it's a public bike, that no one can harness for themselves.
Just taking his time and he hands the tools over. Must have more than one person taking them
They don't get jail time that is why . Stealing and damage of municipal property. At least 12 months in prison will be a good lesson
Municipal property that has been paid for, by stolen money?
Yea lets lock everyone up, free accommodation free wifi, free food hahahaha, im sure your prisons are full already.
The thief was so casual about the whole thing. Took his own sweet time. Even paused zipping up his bag and then casually went off with the bike. Openly and blatantly flaunted the law right in the presence of witnesses. Amazing...!!!!!
Just say he was being anti-semetic towards the bike rack and the police will come flooding.
Tips for proecting your bike:
1. Put the u lock though your bike pedals and chain so it can't turn.
2. Put a chain around the front wheel and the frame to prevent movement.
Cops won't do anything. The thief didn't give permission to film lol
2 party consent rules literally only exist to protect sex abusers in positions of power.
Street Santa, watching in the background putting him on naughty list, 😮 ,that bike was gone in 30 seconds and probably sold for 100£ to support this fellas drug habit, addiction is a curse on humanity
In the UK, you can be prosecuted for trying to stop them. That's why nobody does anything. If you get robbed and you knock the robber out, you go to prison for assault.
Rubbish. As a British citizen you are perfectly at liberty to arrest someone who is committing an indictable offence, so long as you use only appropriate force.
citizens arrest...where the heck do you live?
Probably not, but you are likely to get stabbed.
The thieves are part of the problem, the bigger problem is everyone films and just watches it happen, this could not have happened in the 90s, he would have got his face smashed in by a bystander

So you'd risk getting a knife would you?
If he's got a tube cutter, he's probably got a knife too. And law abiding people are not allowed to carry means of self-defence in the UK.
