I found 1 leaf on a trail and brought it home. Can it be propagated?

thanks for watching 😊, I didn’t have success in leaf propagation. I think it should have stem or a node ti propagate it

It is so very hard to propagate from a leaf with no stem attached speaking from personal experience.. however today when checking my propagation dish one of my ruby necklace leaves does indeed have a little tiny root coming out of it so it's possible but unfortunately in my experience usually does end up failing if there's no stem

The leaf is still purple, but a bit smaller. In June, I bought a plant. After a week, it began to show distress along with slimy leaves. I am propagating via broken off stems. The stems appear to be a success. The broken off leaves are hanging in there. They plump up and shrivel, until watered. This is the same behavior as the stems and mother plant. Yet, that one leaf from the trail finding leaves me speechless. I don't see progress, but an still treating it as I do other propagations with "small sips" of water instead of sending the soil. 🤞🏻
