      I feel some type of way man. I know that time does catch up to us all but I just wish Sting’s time did not come to an end. He is truly one of the best of all time and I have always been a fan.       Did Sting and Darby Allen retain the titles? If so, at least Sting not only went out the way he wanted, also a tag champion. Even though it's not the world title. It's Sting damn it.

    Sting maybe doesnt realize for all us kids coming from broken and abusive homes he absolutely gave us hope and sense of peace for a a few hours every week when there was none. Absolutely beautiful ending and being able to watch it in peace before and after is such a blessing. Thank you Sting!!!!!!

    And I thought AEW's tribute to Brodie Lee couldn't be topped in terms of raw emotion. But Tony managed to outdo himself with his handling of Sting's send-off event for I was moved to goosebumps. THIS is how you treat talented veterans and old-school icons. Farewell, Sting. You earned it all.

      It truly was flawless. It's almost unbelievable. Sting performed WAY above and beyond expectations in pretty much every match, pulling off INSANE daredevil moves that were utterly insane for a man of his age (and SIZE), and he completed his entire 3 years run without being injured even ONCE. The Icon truly is immortal.

      I was brought to tears as well. I have been watching Sting since his old days in NWA. If that isn't enough, the fact his sons represented his former gimmicks and the entire event was so well done made it difficult not to tear up a bit.

      But they kept him around for too long. As much as I hate saying that, him losing for a second time at WM by Reigns, that crappy squash match vs Cena, the Saudi Arabia matches, all of them kind of deflated the impact of his eventual retirement.

      He's an icon, he's out childhood, he's in the top 3 of the greatest at least in my book. 37 yrs old 27 yrs of watching sting wrestle. Never did I think sting would wrestle as long as he has after WCW. In my opinion we can still get sting v undertaker if they really want it it can happen. But I doubt both would do it. Look at flair he wrestled a few yrs back.

    They stuck the landing. I knew they could, and they did. Sting's final run in AEW was basically flawless from start to finish, and put a perfect cap on the career of one of THE greatest of all time. THANK YOU AEW, THANK YOU TONY KHAN, AND THANK YOU STING!

    By far the best send off to this man's amazing 40+ year Career and I am so grateful to have been along for the journey. Now this man can rest peacefully and safe at the comfort of his home with his family where he absolutely most definitely earned and deserved. An thank you Darby Allin for pushing Sting to finish off his career on his own terms the way it should be, this probably wouldn't have happened without ur motivation and elevation on this man and of course with the likes of help from Tony Khan.     For all the issues I have with AEW, the fact that they did THIS for Steve Borden will stand as a landmark achievement as an organization.
    He went from having one of the saddest conclusions to a storied career to what’s probably his best run. And it was a joy to watch.

    One of the first wrestlers I got into as a little kid in the early 90s. Now here I am an elder millennial and shedding a few tears over this guy's retirement, cause he was there almost my entire life and it's a huge sign of my youth being gone.

    They really did so damn well with this sendoff and celebration of him, the video packages too were phenomenal, crowd was absolutely electric and seeing them all stand on the stage to applaud him was so nice, that last shot of him and his sons was perfect, basically one last huddle with the three main personas he portrayed through his career 👏👏👏, amazing.

    I Watched him in 1988 when I was 4 years old. To be able to see this in 2024 at 39 years old... Amazing. 1988-2024 Is just numbers... that dash - in the center represented a life long career of bad assery that no one will ever be able to copy. Sting is the Man. I really appreciate AEW uploading this speical moment so everyone could witness this speech. Thank you for all these years Sting. Its a big part of my heart. WE will Miss you.

    Shit I love sting. He is by far my favorite wrestler ever. My dad took me to see him wrestle hogan in a cage in Vegas. Seeing his sons out there wearing his outfits does choke ya up. If I was there I’d be cryin for sure.

    I grew up a Lil' Stinger back when I first saw him in Starrcade 91. I watched him Saturday nights at 6:05 at my dads house. I watched him on the last Nitro. I'm so happy to have seen his final run too. Love you, Sting!

    First started watching wrestling in early 1991, dad was flipping on TV and came across TBS and saw Clash of the Champions XIV. Seeing Sting and Luger vs. Doom and seeing how big and jacked everyone was opened my eyes to wrestling, everyone looked like superheroes to me. Sting caught my eye immediately with the blonde hair, jacked body, and face paint. Thank you Sting.
