Hi, Hello perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

Me I was happy both time never like Gamora or Black Widow
I think Gamoras death is one of the most heartbreaking deaths from Marvel. You saw the panic in her face when she realized that he's going to kill her
I also feel really bad for peter because he looked really broken when he found out that the love of his life was murdered by thanos 💔
Yup a whole lot of dread for the rest of the universe n nothing to stop it this scene made me cry for Gamora literally nothing to help or aid her in this situation its an insane heavy addition to the movie that noone expected a good but unwanted scene indeed

Honestly I think Gamora's death is more sad than Black Widow's death. With Black Widow, at least she chose to sacrifice herself cuz she had nothing outside The Avengers. With Gamora, she didn't have a choice. She was forced to be sacrificed by her crazy father who he thought he was doing for the greater good, and it was her death that doomed the universe.
Yeah so dark 😢😭😭👌
Well Black had her family. From her movie (but before that they were basically non-existent).
@@yeeyee. eh. Natasha’s was sad definitely (mostly cuz of Clint) but Gamora’s death was probably the most tragic one of the entire MCU
Gamoras death was more inevitable and tragic especially for thanos and quill but widows death was sadder for Clint as they were best friends and like partners in crime
Yeah at least Natasha died believing she did it for a good cause while Gamora died knowing that her death would help her father commit mass murder.
I think people don't talk enough about Gamora's death. When she realized she would be killed she felt so hopeless and even tried to sacrifice herself without hesitation. The helplessness she felt when the knife transformed into bubbles it's so palpable.
This scene and Nat's one are so sad😭😭😭
Agreed it’s so sad 😢
That moment when in gotg, Gamora said she would be happy to die with her friends. Too bad sh died alone in a cold and lonely planet.

@@1990sq thanks, you've just made this scene even more sad
@@M_H_H it's not humor, he just wanted to keep her from doing it
No, thats not it at all, if Gamora stabbed herself and bled out before Thanos could sacrifice her, he wouldnt have gotten the soul stone. Therefore turning the blade to bubbles, also a callback to previously in the movie when Quill shot at her.
That's crazy. Imagine thinking your dad never loved anything besides himself only to die knowing that he loved you more than anything.
@Lakshya Saxena right
not more than anything.
That kind of love i happily pass on.
Not only that but that you have to die as a direct result of that love. Literally the worst possible hand you could be dealt.
Sure. But he was still an abusive shit Father. So, doesn't really matter if he "loved" her.
The way he threw her off seemed so careless, without a moment of hesitation. There was no way he even doubted his choice, yet he still felt hurt. I truly despise him, but this scene really made me hurt.
He knew that was the only way to "save the universe", and nothing could stop him from doing so
His willpower is too much to falter.
I saw it as he was so strong compared to her that it wasn’t even an effort to throw her entire weight
He did hesitate. He even cried and took a moment to decide while crying. This scene is like 4 min long
I’d do anything to give up my life for Woody.EXE because I really love him
The perfect moment , it makes Thanos a character , he has emotion , Gamora doesn't fear death , she is ready to die if she can save others , but she refuse to die for Thanos , she know her death will lead half universe's death .

Damn who ever would have thought Thanos had a heart.
Edit:Thanks for all the likes.
He doesn't. His motivation isn't to balance the universe, he just wants to prove his "kill half of everything" theory was correct, weather or not it permanently cripples everything. His definition of love is Scociopathic; he THINKS he knows what it is, and that's enough for the stone. If Nebula was the better fighter, SHE'D be the one Thanos sacrificed, not Gamora.
At least he loved Gramora, well like a twisted type of love.
@@megaboss8140 ohh so you know what love is for the stone? jesus gtfo
@@MaxFalange You first.
Megaboss I don’t think you understand the fundamental idea that there are fucked up ways of loving somebody. Even bad guys love people too. Sounds like you’re just salty and upset that some of your favorite characters died. It’s ok to not like Thanos, you’re not supposed to like him, he’s the BAD GUY! But don’t make shit up and pretend like he didn’t have legit reasons for doing what he’s doing. He’s not doing it to prove his theory, because he already knows that it works. Because he offered to do it on his own planet and all of his people died because they didn’t listen to him, and then he tried his idea on Gamora’s planet and it worked, so that’s why he thinks that way. You don’t have to agree with him, you’re not supposed to. I don’t agree with him, but that’s why he’s such a great antagonist, they actually put effort into the writing for his character.
Can I just say, I LOVE how this scene both humanizes and dehumanizes Thanos at the same time. The sight of Thanos shedding tears at the thought of killing Gamora shows that he still loves and has weaknesses, but him willing to kill Gamora shows that he is also too far gone in his beliefs to be reasoned with and is willing to ignore his own desires for what he believes is needed and therefore has no distractions and mortal attractions to dissuade him from his original goal
Of all his adopted children, Thanos genuinely loved Gamora, to the extent that not only did he hope that she would inherit his throne one day, but he also genuinely mourned her death after he was forced to sacrifice her to the Soul Stone on Vormir.
He wasn't forced to do anything. He chose to do it. He chose to go through with his plan and sacrifice her. He could have stopped and said "Enough! Nothing's worth losing you." Or something.

I love the subtle ways they form Thanos and Gamoras relationship.
He brought her food, clearly caring. He went to sit in his chair, she said she hated the chair so he sat down on the stairs instead. He sheds tears for her, his lips quiver.
When he grabs her arm she chose to punch him. - He has a pained expression on his face. - The first time he met Gamora as a child she was punching one of his henchman the same way which impressed him. She was fierce, fearless. Her punching him like that in that specific moment could easily bring back up the these memories and cause a lot of pain.
Well done now I'm crying 😆😭
That's why Thanos is one of my favorite film villains he's so complex and layred. And the subtle hints with their relationship was such great directing and acting by Josh Brolin and Zoe Saldana.
@TacoTV Eeeh. It seems more like she's saying "no", but in a screamy "NNAAAOOOHH" kind of way (like some people in real life tend to do when they're breaking down and screaming at the top of their lungs).
It's cut off either way, so it's hard to tell. But based off her many, MANY repeated instances (in this, and every other movie she's ever been in) of saying Thanos isn't, and was never her father, I don't realistically see how the word "dad" could ever come from her mouth. Unless she was trying to emotionally manipulate him into backing out of the deal (he did have the space stone, so he could theoretically pull her back up), which was very possible.

Best scene in the movie. Zoe Saldana and Josh Brolin nailed it. Even though we know a new Gamora is alive now, this still breaks me. Our Gamora will never be the same person.
Gamora’s death will always be the worst for me no matter who dies. Purely because she didn’t want to die. She was so relieved and happy when she thought she would be able to see Peter and the rest of her family again... and the look on her face when she realizes she won’t be able to is heartbreaking. It’s really just not fair. She finally found a happy life and got away from her abuser but then she ends up being murdered by him when her development isn’t even finished. It’s definitely not okay with me and won’t ever be.
The saddest death is by far Thanos's. He realized he was truly defeated, and decided to do what he loves most.

When Gamora thought she killed Thanos in the first time, she cried after. So in this scene she really yelling "dad" to Thanos.
Doubt it. She hates him and if she did, it was an attempt to manipulate him into saving her. Obviously didn’t work.
this shows how careless he is. He would do anything for the stones. And he would kill his own daughter the person he chose too save and he kills her over a stone
He wasn't killing her for "the stone". The stone meant nothing to him. It was only what he could do with *all* the stones that mattered. Thanos put the happiness & safety of half the universe before his own. Because he wasn't going to allow anyone else to become the monster he was.

I don't see how that would realistically come out of her mouth. She was literally overjoyed and relished in watching Thanos' despair ten seconds before being thrown off that cliff, lol. Her hatred for this guy extends beyond however much he thinks he loves her. It's much more likely she was screaming no in that moment, considering she'd be dying alone, and would've been sacrificed for the sake of wiping out half of the universe (an act she found absolutely detestable, maybe even moreso than Nebula).

This scene to me shows that Thanos is not just a cold-blooded monster. He clearly doesn't want to sacrifice Gamora but he feels he has to.
Is it just me, or does Gamora look like she's screaming "dad" instead of "no?"
Almost everyone is saying the same thing
True!
This scene was probably my favorite in the entire movie and possibly the MCU. Throughout the course of the series, Gamora and Starlord have worked off of each other to break down their mental walls; simultaneously getting closer to one another. Gamora was conditioned to be an emotionless killing machine when deep down she (like a lot of people) wanted to be loved. Finally, after all of her development and growth the sad reality is that she had to die because somebody really did love her. On the flip side you have Thanos who lives up to his philosophy of how the hardest decisions require the strongest wills, and how he has to sacrifice the thing he loved most in order to accomplish his goal. It’s this scene which elevates him above most if not all the other MCU villains.
Thanos: Kills his own daughter
Also Thanos: Surprised pikachu face
Gamora is so underrated she's trying to flee herself from Thanos, realized that she can't beat him killing herself is the last option she got but didn't work. After all Gamora knew she can't scape that place alive it's either kill herself first or used as Thanos's sacrifice to obtain the soul stone.
“Sacrifice what you love”
Thanos: *Drops his destiny*
Me: does no such thing
For me, the most powerful part of this scene was Thanos getting up and staring at the stone. There are no words, as the eerie music plays in the background. He stares at it, knowing what it cost him, but also knowing that he still had work to do, resolute as ever in his cause.
This is what makes this movie the best in the MCU. What makes this scene is Thanos. Even though we care about Gamora, it’s the fact that Thanos sacrificed his daughter that makes the moment impactful. It’s Thanos’s story, and every story beat develops his character. Beautiful storytelling
Fight me, but Gamora’s death was sadder than both Natasha’s _and_ Tony’s.
Don’t get me wrong, Nat’s and Tony’s death both had me bawling, but Gamora’s had me wailing.
Gamora is a relatively new character. She is beloved by fans. We went through up until this point thinking we were going to have our Gamora for at least until the end of Guardians 3, but no. Her death was unexpected, sudden, and impactful. It developed Gamora’s character and Thanos. Gamora thinks Thanos loves no one. It shows Thanos is willing to do anything to get these stones, even if it means killing the only person you love.

We saw something here nobody else would see. Tears. Thanos mourned for the death of who he loved, which you wouldn't see from anyone else. He didnt want to kill her, he wished there was another way, but he knee for a fact that The Guide does not lie about the Soul Stone.
Gamora was trying to stop him from taking the soul stone, but she failed😟😟😟😞😖.So sad
I know😖
She shouldn’t have even brought him there in the first place then.
Omega1867 she had no choice otherwise he was gonna continue to torcher Nebula.
Wilfredo Cruz I get that. But Gamora also gets no crap for choosing a single person over the entire universe when Peter gets crapped on ALL the time for doing the exact same thing.
Omega1867 because fuck Peter lmao
"The hardest choices requires the strongest wills"
This scene is the only scene in the world of Marvel where Thanos has a heart.
Honestly, I know thanos is a villain. But he risked everything to do what he thought was right. And that’s everything anyone can do. He even included himself in the snap because he thought that the world was overpopulated. He kept his word every single time he made a deal with anyone.
Always thought it was so weird that he would kidnap a child during this midst of his killing conquests. But now I realize it was bc destiny/fate needed him to love someone so he could have someone to sacrifice for the soul stone. He didn't even realize until this moment that that's why he became so attached when he first saw her, kidnapped her, and loved her all these years. Totally sad and messed up.
I'm here after the death of Natasha:(
U just spoiled oof
@@axrilly1884 dude, it's been 9 days ;(
Ezgi Su i havent watched it ;(
@@axrilly1884 I'm sorry:((
@@axrilly1884 if u dont want any spoilers why go to a video involving avengers liek no one is gonna connect the movies or at all talk about it on a film from aveengers??
Watching the scene where Gamora first meets Thanos before this there's so many parallels. The first and last time that he saw her he called her Little One. The first time he saw her, she was hitting the arm of the guard who was dragging her along before he saved her from execution, the last thing she does is hit him in the same way as he drags her to her demise
Gamora and Nat both of these deaths hit hard.
Gamora got two good movies and there's still a past version of her, they gave the past loki all of his character development in a single episode, marvel will obviously try to do the same with Gamora all through that movie,
Nat though deserved better, didn't get a solo movie before her death, got one of the worst endings, didn't find herself in the final major battle,
She deserves better, she should have led the avengers in Phase 5 if only for a couple of movies and should have gone down fighting, instead of falling down a damn cliff.
Every time “Even for you” kicks in, I get freaking chills
The soul stone, nothing but trouble. Gamora is unwillingly sacrificed in Infinity War. In Endgame Black Widow willingly sacrifices herself.
Red skull: the person you love most has to die
Thanos: kills gamora, his daughter
Nebulla:👁💧👄💧👁
😂😂
The way she leaps off of rooftops perfectly captures the exaggerated swagger of a green teen.
I still can't believe they did that two times with Black Widow
I wanted to do this in mid 2020 because I couldn’t cope anymore but forgave myself in 2021
I love Gamora. I cried when she died. Great acting by Zoe Saldana in this scene.
Peak marvel and I always thought nothing will be better than age of Ultron
Unpopular opinion: This scene is more heartbreaking than the black widow scene.
Such a doting father.
2:21 When you kill the person you've been solo teaming with at the end of the game in a 1v1
What’s sad is she didn’t even beg for her life cus she wanted to live, she begged for her life to keep everyone alive :(
Definitely tears me up more and faster than black widows, not saying hers was not sad at all but gamoras was just 😭
