Imagine a ten foot blade made out of a metal as strong or even stronger than vibranium being swung at you by one of the most powerful beings in the universe. Someone so strong he can defeat a guy who can one-punch multi thousand ton space whales in 30 seconds, defeat a 1500 year old warrior who can destroy skyscraper sized spaceships with ease and survive the heat of stars, someone who can survive using the most powerful objects in the universe.

Part of what makes him such an intimidating villain, aside from being as tall and as strong as the Hulk, is that he mostly speaks very softly. He has a a full on conversation with Strange in Infinity War that sounded like they were out for a stroll in the park. You almost forget that they’re about to fight.

Overpopulation is an actual threat to human populations (india and China to start). He attempts to solve it on a universal scale but does it the wrong way, instead of using the power he got to teach civilizations how to control themselves he did the worst thing imaginable.

They truly embraced the "mad" aspect of "The Mad Titan" in Endgame. And I love it to this day.
His mindset changed once he saw that they were trying to undo his destiny. From there on, half the universe ceasing to exist isn't the right thing to do for him anymore - all of it must be extinguished.
One thing I still would have loved to see in the movie is Mistress Death.
