So it really comes down to how important wireless charging, 90Hz and water resistance are vs a headphone jack and larger screen.

10:43 and 11:02 are the two shots where I noticed a difference in detail with the Pixel 5 showing a bit more.

Thanks for uploading this comparison. I agree that they both look very similiar and sometimes even identical, as you would expect. Still, as someone who is considering to buy the 4a 5g, it's nice to have proof for this. A comparison with the OnePlus Nord or/and the OnePlus 8T would be great. Keep up the great work!

Pixel 4a 5g is the best for my price quality. If I want to improve the quality even more I use another gcam camera app but with mods from other developers.

How's the image processing time for each after taking a photo compared to the older pixels?
Pretty comparable. Sometimes the 5/4a 5G is faster and sometimes the Pixel 4 XL is faster, but always very close. Goes back and forth even after shooting a burst of 10 photos each.
yours is probably the best video comparison of this two phones. there is of course room for improvement but i am being too demanding here. congrats!!!!!! keep up the good work

Not to me, both cameras perform pretty similar and I'd choose the one based on other features that are important to you (i.e. size, display refresh rate, wireless charging, etc).

Both cameras are same, so just decide if you prefer the bigger or smaller one. Both are great if you like to point and shoot.

The Pixel 5 may have punchier colours that are more pleasing but are different from what your eyes actually see and the pixel 4a clearly has the better quality photos, video, audio recording.

I didn't think the 4a and 4a 5g were the same camera. At the start of the video he said these phones (4a 5g and 5) had the same camera. So are you saying all 3 have the exact same camera 🤨

I don't see any difference. Exactly the same lenses for all cameras & the same chipset. Logically, result would be very2 similar.
Great comparison man . In terms of portrait mode and selfies would you suggest me pixel 4a 5g or pixel 4xl?
Technically 4XL since it has the telephoto lens, but honestly it's not very noticeable to me. All Pixels are great at portrait shots.

To me Pixel has the best portrait mode. Although this S21 Ultra is looking promising. iPhone does nicely on people, but objects are a struggle.
Which one should I buy for photography ?
Pretty much the same, so get the 4a 5g if you want a larger display and save some money. Get the 5 if you like a smaller phone and the 90Hz, Wireless charging, etc.

Why is there no Ultrawide video test?
Huh, check the timestamps and watch the video. I have ultrawide photos and start the video comparisons with the ultra wide cameras. 🤷🏻♂️
@@GrantLikesTech my bad, I payed the video without sound and thought that the Rear camera is the main camera (not ultawide).
It looks to me that Google cranked up the sharpness just a bit with the 5. Many of the 5 images appear sharper in focus that the 4A 5G.
4a looks great... Until you see Pixel 5 take it up a notch

You take good pictures in general. You know how to set up the lighting so that most cameras will take a good photo.

the big diversity is onli at 1080p at 60fps! that you missed
Can't do that in a single video with multiple frame rates. You wouldn't see the higher frame rate on a video exported at 30fps. 🤷🏻♂️

the difference is a littlel, BUT, its real, the pixel 5 HDR i a bit better than 4a 5g, but, in general, are the same camera, i repeat, the pixel 5 its better
