      Holly may not be as great as her hype after Rhonda made her out to be, but that fight was pure dominance by Holmes. A lot to do with Rhonda being stubborn and thinking she can out strike a career striker, but Holmes countering all of Rhonda's strikes and and stuffing nearly all takedowns as well as securing her own against a grappler for not being a grappler and escaping the only successful takedown Rhonda got. Nearly flawless. My personal favorite moment was Holmes casually ducking Rhonda's hook and walking off making Rhonda looked stupid.

      Most of Colby's fights are a masterpiece. I still think he has all the skills to become UFC champion. His fight with Usman will go down in the top five WW championship fights.
      A big problem with Colby's resume is he beats these guys at the wrong times. Maia was coming off a loss and getting old anyways. RDA had some wins piled up, but was taking on the roll of gatekeeper at that time. Lawler was on a losing streak and so was Woodley. I guess one could argue he fought them at the right times for securing victories, but i still think they'd have meant more had they fought sooner.

      I don't know man, Holloway has been competing professionally for 10 years so that 9-year rule which I've come to discover could strike again. Either Holloway is entering his prime or this is a one-off performance that is so damned impressive its overshadowed his previous losses. We'll have to wait and see what happens next, but I'm less optimistic how Holloway will perform in a trilogy fight against Volkanovski, who is an absolute stud of a fighter.

I'm not sure where the 12 came from, because he only landed 9 kicks. There was 1 phantom connection of a punch that wasn't even audible, but you can see that it landed on Izzy's forearm because it moved about an inch. If you are looking for pure dominance, I personally feel like that fight deserves #2 on this list, as nothing beats Silva v Griffin. I knew that fight was #1 the moment I clicked on the video.

      @rogbot Před 3 lety

      @chris tesla Conor fought Diaz TWO weight classes up and didn’t even fight him at 170. He literally did not even weigh that much. Diaz is actually known as someone with a good chin, both before the Conor bouts and after. Conor also dropped Nate several times which was incredibly impressive. Kattar has never been known as someone with a good chin, this narrative just suspiciously popped up after Max embarrassed himself by proving his inability to finish opponents that have a decent chin whatsoever. Max literally won a UD against Kattar. You can say “ohh welll uhh he did really good and uhh he busted up his face!!” Or whatever but it literally does not matter. He won a decision. And when people look at sherdog in 5-7 years and see that Max Holloway could not finish people, they’ll take note of it. Max Holloway has some very unfortunately unintelligent fans that surround him. Just like his historic inability to finish opponents, his two fights against Volk will be seen as precisely what they were; losses. Max lost twice to Volk and people are so distraught that they throw temper tantrums whenever either man is brought up anywhere on social media. These overt attempts at changing the narrative will lose their power over time, and the end of Holloway’s career could very well be viewed as the day he first stepped foot in the octagon with Volk, the superior featherweight. Losing twice to an opponent like that is exactly what happened to DC against Jon, btw, and you don’t see many people clamoring for that trilogy fight, nor giving DC any chance of winning, do you. In time, you will realize that Max Holloway is in the same situation.

    I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was confident an Anderson fight would be no. 1.

    It's truly mind-boggling. I glance at the thumbnail and read the title, yet I'm uncertain if they're referring to the Ortega, Kattar, or Gaethje fight. This guy is a legend.

      “Goo?” ~Reminds me of the film, “Prometheus”; I’ll leave you with these brilliant words from Percy Bysshe Shelley- “...look on my works, ye mighty, and Despair...”. (I’ve high functioning Autism and, to me, I’ve just created a funny joke, though, from experience, I realize that it’s, most likely only funny to me). C’est la vie!

    Anderson v Griffin is one of them, but I consider Anderson v. Belfort to be perhaps his best flawless performance. He stood in front of Belfort with his hands down and did something similar against a much better puncher.
