guys, while genetics are important, don't think about it too much, that's only gonna slow down your improvement. genetics give you a good start, but im concerned that you can get fast without having good starting point. on my example: half a year ago i started playing stream maps, and i was only able to hit 130bpm streams. However now i can consistently stream 220bpm, and my improvement doesn't seem to stop. im passing some 240 and 250bpm maps occasionally. never give up because you think you can't
@@mikatsuno i don't know any examples of people stopping at some point, while still going out of comfort zone. as an example, gayz doesn't play >300bpm maps as often anymore, and so does informous. i believe physical limit for anyone is way over 400bpm, and there aren't enough players to play fast maps all day everyday in attempt to get to it. in my opinion genetics determine where you start, whether it is 200bpm, or just 130. someday we'll see top speed players hit their limits. but i believe that's not going to happen anytime soon, and when it will - that's going to be far beyond 400bpm. once you say "omg i think i hit my limits" you demotivate yourself, and your chances going further are dropping. imo anyone can do 300bpm with enough practice and working hand. i mean if you can burst 300bpm for like 5 notes, you have potential to stream 300bpm in future.
thats my point, I was able to burst 300 now I can hit like 10 notes or so, it keeps improving. But 340bpm is just not doable for anyone except those monsters. I'm not disagreeing with the "starting point" idea tho. I started with 190 and 200 while others cant even hit 170. But yeah, there's some limits depending on everyone's hand structure.
@Toni Antabi no, aim is also improtant. Not only jumps but also stream flow aim is what determines your skill. Who cares if you tap 250bpm without the ability of following streams. Same goes for jumps. This game isn't fucking taiko, you also got to aim and do jumps. That's why you need to focus on BOTH, not just one side. That's what I'm doing rn, 300bpm jumps with high ar, 240bpm stream maps that reqiure flow aim, and 200bpm deathstreams. There's much more, like HDHR low(170)bpm, getting your finger control and holding acc. What's the point if you can't control your strength, like, overstreaming 222bpm lol
@@mikatsuno have to agree with you on your last comment. once i started hitting high bpm i forgot how to stream everything below 170, and i had to go back and fix my skills. also 160bpm finger control map like hide and seek can help much more than 250bpm spam

without genetics doe, you seem to stop improving at some point after 300bpm. This guy goes above that, 340bpm or so
