  • It Begins! Dealers Can't Sell These $100,000 Trucks
Car & Truck lots are filling up and inventory is coming in faster than it is going out.
Cost Of Living Crisis is a real barrier to people being able to afford a new truck. Increased prices, to trim levels, greed and reason abound are why dealers can't sell these $100,000 and above trucks.

Lets not all forget about all the government required emissions and other stuff that costs the consumers thousands of dollars. A touchy subject is the emissions on diesel engines. All those emissions probably add $10k to $15k easily to the sticker price. Not only are the manufactures driving those prices up but the government is giving them a hand. When a manufacture has to develop a new motor to meet current emissions standards, that expense is passed on to the consumer as well. Our safety standards are nice but those standards add cost to American vehicles compared to overseas vehicles that do not have those standards. I look at the mark-ups as a collaboration between the manufacturer and the government.
