I got saved last year 2021 and went through a Myles Munroe rabbit hole here on CZcams. My ears were tickled, and I was impressed by his preaching, but now I know that was because I didn't know the Lord's word. I was not yet familiar with scripture. But I do remember in one of his sermons, he said that 'Jesus Christ was God limited when he was on Earth" and for whatever reason that did not sit well with me and after that video I have not been able to listen to any of his sermons. I would feel turned off just thinking about watching his sermons. Now I understand why. Thank you for this video. I pray for everyone I shared his sermons with.

It’s so sad how religious Christians think… they are so miserable yet the scriptures talks about joy.
Myles Monroe is not about self ambition… I’ve read at least 5 of his books… he’s not a prosperity gospel preacher. He encourages God people to believe Gods Word. Which most Christians don’t do…
“for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”

@@mjkelly37 the scriptures also talk about hell and satan and suffering and death.... what does the scriptures talking about joy have to do with anything? Myles Monroe is absolutely about self- ambition. I also have read many of his books and watched almost all of his videos. He is a prosperity gospel preacher. He obviously doesn't encourage people to believe God's Word, because he isn't preaching God's word. what teacher isn't convincing people that what they're preaching is also God's Word? Key word in the scripture you quoted-- righteousness. Nothing about this video has anything to do with eating or drinking. you can't have joy if you're believing false doctrine. You can have bliss in ignorance. joy is only in the truth.

Myself and my prayer partner were getting ready to pray one night and he started reading some stuff from one of Monroe’s books it sounded great and my brother said that man spent some time with God. After we got done praying I decided to check him out on CZcams and this same video popped up and when I heard it I’m like this joker spent some time with his self. I told my brother the next day and sent him the video he has not said another word about it. And he’s been a minister for about 2 decades see this is what we fall for when we don’t study the word and don’t study any theology. From what I see it’s been a whole heap of witchcraft practices going on in the black church not all but a majority of em. Y’all study your bible. and I don’t know nothing but I do know Jesus preached about himself and the good news he died for all mankind. God does what He pleases He doesn’t need our permission for NOTHING ANYTHING NADA. He is God all by Himself

Your channel is a good way to get familiar with the spirit of discernment. All these false teachings that I came across at some point and liked their preaching, before coming to your channel, I started to sense that as much as I initially liked what they had to say, something always felt off and eventually I would stop listening to their teachings and started to feel turned off by them whenever I'd see another video suggested or see one of their books. Nothing they had said did I know yet was wrong, but eventually would just lose interest and feel something dark about them even if not actively. Even before I had read the whole Bible, or even felt compelled to go and test it by the Word. The same feeling I eventually would get listening to Isaiah, etc. I couldn't explain Biblically what was wrong with their teaching, and wasn't even sure if they were wrong, but just didn't want to listen to them anymore. of course as much as I liked what I was hearing and would rather take their word for it as truth, my spirit would till be like "yeah that's cap". And i just found your channel yesterday and every person I listened to and then eventually stopped listening to you are calling out and confirming with the word why their teaching was false. I don't know if it's the same thing Biblically but "my sheep will know my voice" and for some reason all of those "teachers" started sounding very unfamiliar at some point. I found your channel because someone was calling you a heresy hunter in reference to another teacher I was looking into his validity and everyone was agreeing how there was no good use for people who do the work you're doing- it just causes division in the church, but no. This is important and now I recognize the feeling of when someone is teaching something unbiblical or whenever I have that feeling, how important it is to go and confirm anything that sound new and exotic that sounds good with the Word.

The Kingdom of God, also called Kingdom Of Heaven, in Christianity, is the spiritual realm over which God reigns as king, or the fulfillment on Earth of God's will. The phrase occurs frequently in the New Testament, primarily used by Jesus Christ in the first three Gospels. I suspect what Miles Munroe means that "we" are the kings and rulers. God gave Adam and Eve dominion, and they blew it for all of us. The Kingdom of God is where God reigns--not us.

The question was asked why the people were still sitting there after he said "Jesus is not the good news." People don't necessarily stay because they agree. Some stay out of politeness. Some stay to see where he's going with this. But I can personally attest to the fact that a lot of people took offence at some of the things he said, to the point where the bishop made him retract some of what he said. He tried to clarify what he was attempting to say but people weren't having that.

This is from his teaching on prayer.
The basic premise is this, he taught that if God is sovereign, why pray? Which is a legitimate question.
But his answer that he believed was correct. Was that God gave man dominion over the Earth. And because God will be true to his promises. And he cites the scripture that God says I will be holy even unto myself. He suggests that whenever God says something it becomes law. So he can’t go against what he said. Therefore, if he gave man dominion over the Earth then legally God needs to go through a man in order to operate on the Earth.
That’s why he goes on to say we are called the body of Christ, because Jesus is now operating in the body of a believer, the body of a man and therefore has legal right to act on Earth. The things he wants through men on Earth. That’s the basic concept that he was teaching.
I used to love Myles Munroe… he was my guy..
    How wrong I was.

A preachers job is not to preach around a question, unless that question is answered strictly with the text. Example; is hell hot? ‘(Yes/no) because the Bible says…’
It would be one thing if he was in question as a believer, but to lead others in the wrong direction, and by doing so he led so many to damnation with him, is one of the worst things we can do to our fellow believers.

  • @Thunder-sf4qy
    @Thunder-sf4qy Před rokem +3

Authorization which means permission brother. God does not force you to pray, and when you pray that's inviting him in your life which is permission - granting authorization. The Lord does not force anyone to take communion, when you do that's inviting him in your life granting him authorization- permission. God does not force you to read and obey his word, if you choose to obey you are then granting him permission - authorization to fulfill all his word in your life. We have a dual part in the earth brothers. You will give authorization to the Spirit of God (holy ghost) or a unclean spirit of the devil. Look at John 14:17, Matt 12:43-45 & Mark 5:8-13, you will see that the holy spirit or even demonic spirits need authorization - permission. We all believe God can do whatever he wants! He gave man a free will, you have to invite him in!
Rev 3:20 Niv- Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
John 14:17 Niv- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will (be in you)!
    Matt 12:43-45 Niv
43 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”
Mark 5:8-13 Niv- For Jesus had said to him, “Come out of this man, you impure spirit!”
9 Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.” 10 And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area. 11 A large herd of pigs was feeding on the nearby hillside. 12 The demons begged Jesus, “Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them.” 13 He gave them PERMISSION, and the impure spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned.
You can give the spirit realm permission/ authorization. The Holy spirit is a guide. But demon possessions will drive you, meaning you can lose control and want to stop but can't without the power of God. That's why people said, LORD Jesus save me. Come on bruh .. Dr Myles is legit. I stand on it.

I have been born again for 30 years but always wondered why I struggled with spiritual growth. But now after realizing that I have been exposed to wrong doctrine, truth mixed with a whole lot of error in the pentecostal church, how could I have possibly grown properly in Christ. Reading the Bible on my own in context, one whole book at a time and listening to sober and mature expository teachers has really opened my eyes. And listening to how you examine these false teachers and preachers based on what the Bible says, which you do humbly, maturely and the way you patiently handle and respond to people commenting is very helpful.

Once life comes at you fast, this gospel has no warranty to cover you after the messes have been made. Either you’ll wear yourself out and quit altogether, or you’ll be deluded into thinking every discount you get on a pair of shoes is confirmation of God’s favor, and every time you step out your house and don’t get cussed out it’s confirmation of your dominionism.😂 Foolishness. I have to say that if anyone who teaches or follows what MM taught were to be honest with themselves, they’d have to admit that the pagans of the world are out-dominionisming (lol) them by leaps and bounds everyday.

You think Fortune 5 hundred business CEO's of this "world" reject those ideas and yet still become successful?
I can tell you I am a testament to Dr. Munroe's teachings. It was his teachings on Crisis that help me not glve up on my life, teachings on Potential that inspired me be creative with my content creation, and his teachings on Character which taught me how to manage other people's assets without stealing. The unsustainable gospel portion I can relate to. I try to be as fair and unbiased as possible in these things, so the first thing I always try to cover is that potential bias on my end since I'm a Bahamian and spent about 5 years officially with the Church but knowing of Munroe years prior to.
This was a man who clearly went through phases in his teaching where the philosophy changed drastically around the final 2 years give or take before the crash. It was very clear between 2010 and 2014 God went over a very public spiritual Audit of BFMI, I've seen pride fall, plans fail and a full dismantling of the ministry from within the ministry having my own personal issues with the direction before I formerly left in 2012 because I saw these things...what I'm very careful with though...
Is finding joy or humor ( I PROMISE YOU I'm not referring to your emoticon or the lol I mean generally)
I say this because we know that Moses struck the rock and never got to see the Promised land
Samon did really silly things and paid with his life in the end after God gave him power Samson didn't even possess because of his hairlessness, so why would God answer the prayer for one last push to make things right?
We have David not being able to build the temple because of the life he lead
We have Solomon being stripped and having his territory taken away from him but he was clearly in violation to God in extremely blasphemous or disobedient practices
The comparisons not the point but I'd wager, Munroe didn't do the same things that Solomon did.
So I tend to wonder, if any of us can truly say that we know the destinations of any of these people who did a TON of garbage, all leaders who didn't escape the price for these things.
      My point is this,
This is an early clip of Pas. Myles...was this the exact same view during his final years? What was he teaching before he died?
And considering the way he died, in the private plane he would talk about (far too much in my opinion).
Samson brought the house down after being granted one last act for Gods name, he didn't survive it... humiliation and a shortened life was the price he paid.
No one's ever said he went to hell in the end
How is this situation that much different us knowing full well that in all honesty we havent seen the different stages of his life examined for us to come to an accurate, unfair, clear, and undeniably objective conclusion 8 years later when an extremely popular and loved christian apologist like Ravi Zacharias was publicly called out mere months after he died?
Maybe some more damning evidence will show up, but I haven't seen it as yet and I saw a price paid.
Why are we treating his case differently as if the same principles don't apply when we know better?

    • @views-cg5md

@T.J. Burrows Very fascinating comment. Ive read it completely. Interesting you chose to reply here to someone else, but not to me under another comment? Not being rude, but that is peculiar to me.
I've been listening to Dr. Munroe for a long time. I probably heard more teachings from him than anyone who didn't regularly attend his church--so I hope my opinion matters some. I believe people who may read these comments should get different perspectives.
From what I've heard watching his Sunday services Live on a streaming site or seeing him on popular Christian TV networks, he never changed in his teachings. I'm American, and I heard just about every biblical teaching or sermon one could hear, but he stood out from the rest. His level of understanding was far greater then anyone I ever heard. And I eventually figured out why. He thirst for understanding. I remember him and his whole church would fast 21 days every year in January and have bible study every night during the fast. I never heard of a church or pastor doing this.
Did you fast while you were a member?
I do believe at times his teachings could be a bit complex and sophisticated for a general audience whom didn't read their Bibles regularly. Alot of the concepts and precepts he taught on to come to certain conclusions would confuse or even offend any typical church goer.
Although he used alot of metaphors and earthly terminology to help describe spiritual concepts, I knew he was risking alienating a small minority of people who may be very religious but have a base understanding of the Bible. I think he knew that as well.
As far as Dr. Munroe Character, I can't speak on that because I didnt know him personally. I would never make any insinuations or assumptions of someone's Character I didnt know personally. But what I do know is, if he cheated on his wife, stole money from members, mistreated employees etc harass anyone, it would have come out by now.
If anyone read his books or listening to him speak about Character one would know exactly why he didn't compromise his Character. He always framed the concept of Character around the idea one is only hurting themselves because God will always bring what's in the dark to the light. Kind of like Ravi Zacharais or Jerry Farwell jr.
This way of understanding changed my life.
When I read alot of these comments from different individuals and backgrounds, I can't help but think of the parable of the sower in Matthew 13. It explains alot for me.
      God bless.

He had grew up under British kingship Check out his life story This man in the name of Jesus was getting astonishing results He would travel the globe all over the world to different countries To teach kings, Emperors And their governments On how to run their own countries. He had said he would only charge them a small fee of $5000 an hour 😀To get a hold of the key principles of the kingdom. I know it sounds like he's putting a demand on God for something But he's actually putting a demand on the covenants of promises Just like a store that has a very good product so that product becomes on demand supply Every Christian has the God-given rights to do that when the mind is being renewed That's when you become kingdom minded and know who we really are in Christ. John 8:54-56 Niv-Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me.55 Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word.56 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”
John 12:49 kjv- For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
John 7:16 kjv- Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
John 7:16 niv-Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.
The Gospel is the Message of the Kingdom. The LORD honored his Father, not himself. Dr. Myles preached the word, don't listen to this guy who is saying he made up another gospel? False accusations. And the dude who posted video had the nerve to COMMAND GOD for a blessing? And no one speaks on that part? People follow anybody. This is the 1 message that Satan is at war we with because it consists with the moral law - commands, principles and how the Kingdom is governed by the LORD, our obedience to his word counts.

As somebody who is recently saved as a February this year I used to listen to Miles Monroe and listening to Steve Darby both of these men i absolutely love. I pray for their family that they left behind all the time because these men had a great influence on my walk with Christ. But one thing about me is that I am very skeptical of every human being. I absolutely have to see it in the word. I don't care if you're my mother I don't care if you're my pastor I don't care if you're a friend I don't care who you are you are not God if God puts his word above his own name I put no one's name above God's word. The more I got deeper in my relationship with God the more I search scriptures the more I began to feel as what God did for me was way too much. I can't understand how anyone can take the spotlight off of God and put it on themselves. As I begin to run into preachers like Voddie, John MacArthur, Paul Washer something inside of me yearned to hear more about the transformation that was going on inside of me and in my life supernaturally instead of how can I get more I wanted to know how can I show God more gratitude. I don't even listen to these guys anymore and I still love them but these guys always having Revelations by twisting scriptures and preached opinion as though it was God's word.

Were the apostle Paul and Peter unloving when they called out Alexander the coppersmith, Hymanaus and Philedes out for their damnable heresies?
Or what about Peter who struck down Ananias and Saffira for their lie and deception?

We are told to be aware of false prophets, sound the alarm, remove them from amongst you, protect God's sheep, love everyone, do everything in love, turn away from evil.... I'm lost on the Bible verses that say hate them... I remember clearly as they were poking his sides, giving him vinegar to drink, spitting in his face he was asking for forgiveness for these same people. Personally, God has done so much for me through love. I don't have room for anger, bitterness, resentment, and hatred. None of those are fruits of the spirit living in me.... I'll pray for you as you pray for me as we fight this fight of faith. I pray continually that God puts flesh around this heart of stone of mine. I'll keep you in my thoughts as well.

However, I’ve heard you mention in various videos about your age and you being older than the likes of Marcus Rogers, Isaiah Saldivar and others almost as if to imply you to carry more wisdom. Well, doctrinal differences aside, I think making a video about a man who died tragically, a man whose eternity has already been decided, a man who I’m sure has family that may still be grieving his death, a man that is no longer here to defend himself, a man who (whether you like it or not) professed salvation…at a minimum, your indictments are cringy and there is a clear lack of wisdom on your part and a definite display of self-righteousness.
