    If anyone is looking in the future. You don't have to deal with the resistors at all. Just replace the stock flasher relay with an hd flasher relay and it will control the rate

    I LOLed at the scratch on the swing arm...been there with my own z9....after many years these manufacturers still cant provide a longer bolt n a spacer for the spools...
    And crash protection first

    Got the same bike except performance edition with the akropovic end can. Fitted full RG crash protection and black widow downpipes, sounds epic.

    I remember watching all of your vids last year right before I bought my own z, and I opted to go with the rizoma blinkers and delete kit instead of the integrated so I could keep the "z" tail light.
    Well it already shit the bed so I'm excited to try out the tst integrated light and delete kit. Thanks for the vid 😃

    For the turn signal… you better replace the relay with HD12 turn signal relay from your local auto parts store. Easy fix. Clean.

    I recently purchased a 2017 Z900 ABS Matte Black with an exhaust. Let me tell you, the exhaust is a perfect match for the bike. It sounds so fuckin good with my SC Project exhaust on an engine designed to go fast. Crash guards would be safer, but the chances of you collapsing are very low unless you're a more daring rider. Ride carefully, man!

    Orderd my z900 2022 (first bike) and i have the same thought about exhaust. I like the austin with liw mount it looks slick, but the sc has a bit more character in it. One thing is sure they will here you.
    Great bike and great vids man!,

      (a year later). I'm glad i'm not the only one who decided to go with a z900 as a first bike LOL. I figure with the low power mode and traction control I'll be able to do just fine. aleayd DD a manual so clutch game ain't new to me.

    Skipped the crash protection. That’s for insurance to buy me a new bike. I had a Yoshimura slip on that looked good but did nothing more. Switched out for a full Akrapovic, K&N filter, block offs and a 2wdw tune. Best investment ever!

    For me, I'd like an extended blacked out windscreen. Gives it a little more profile to a supersport and maybe it'll reduce glare on the cluster.

    $4.29 gas per gallon? that's cheap. We pay per liter (Eu, €) and converted to gallon it's like $8.62 your money. Nice bike.

    Great video. I personally would have replaced the stock turn signal flasher with an LED flasher thus eliminating having to splice into the wires. Bike is looking good 👍. By the way are you located in the Valley?

    if you bought there TST 2 pin flasher relay , you wouldn't have needed those load balancing resistors that's what i ended up doing cause i didn't feel like doing all that wiring , Bike looks good!

    • @124BHP
      @124BHP Před 2 lety

      @@AndrewHartsock see if you just want to add slip-on then I would suggest you to go with leovince the sound is awesome whether it's on flyby or on idle state or on touring.
      And if you wanna go with full system then I would suggest you check out Scorpion once .
