- *Edit* They showed a new classic Rogue on Friday. This was filmed nearly a week prior. *Edit* With the Cyclops and Phoenix set, Hasbro showed they may be interested in giving us a whole new collection of classic X-Men characters. With this set, we see a continuation of that but will they cash in on nostalgia or deliver us some figures worthy of being called collectibles?

Pyro's head sculpt seems to be modeled after William Defoe. That would explain the wide neutral grin but the open grin is like the evil smile the Defoe can do.

Love the faces in this set. For the comic characters I'm glad they're putting in more actual character into them. Their generic faces had pushed me away from the line, but more and more I'm inching back.

You know what, most often then not I hate two packs, three packs, four packs, etc. I much rather by my figures solo, I hate having to buy a figure I don't want to get the one I want, this is one of those, I want Pyro but I don't want Rogue. Only if they did packs with characters that are always together and had never been released solo I would be happy with this pack thing they do. Thanks for the review Anthony.

not likely. there werent too many reveals that stood out. aside from more gamerverse turds.
The Rogue is based on the X-Men Legacy outfit and it's probably one of the more better Rogue costumes in the last twenty years as someone who is a big fan of the X-Men
Yes Anthony, Pyro is not the Human Torch. He hands don't burst into flame he shoots fire from the tubes on his arms.

This is why hasbro sends their crap to pixel Dan because they know he will say they are perfect and doesn’t have any faults unlike honest reviewers like Anthony

Got mine a week ago and opened yesterday. I didn't notice Pyro's leg hinges were frozen and they both broke from light to medium pressure the first time I tried to move them. The right leg broke off entirely and the left is barely on there.
Oddly, the figure still stands easily, usually seems to be bearing almost all the weight on the left leg too. He is, however, sadly unposable now. :(
I wonder that Rogue head would look on the jim lee style Rogue figure.
Video comes out shortly after a Retro-carded Jim Lee Rogue is revealed, said figure uses the old Juggernaut-wave's legs as opposed to this new sculpt. Welp, can't win 'em all.
To be fair, that was probably already in production.

I would go with brotherhood because I agree with magneto more and chilling with mystique would be cool. Ideally X force is my real gang. Awesome vid

You put out a book for marvel legends beast and hasbro took your idea . And did a reissue . You made a proper marvel legends gambit head hasbro took your idea and now they are doing a reissue . You make those guys better . You keep putting food on their table

He can control fire so yes he can engulf his hands in flames, that being said i agree with you on needing better flame effect. And gams are your calfs

Over on Talker Art he plugged boba fett flame effects into Pyro and they work great. If only it was an existing accessory... made by the same company.... no sense from the H as usual

I like the updated figure of Pyro, but I think he needs to be a bit more leaner? And I'm disappointed with the flame effect pieces, they're just so inaccurate! But not a bad figure though. And as for Rogue... She looks good, but... She just reminds me too much of that cancelled Marvel Legends Rogue from the Puck BAF wave. Which I already know that Hasbro has based her appearance on, so again... Not a bad figure. 👍

For 50$ they didnt give enough of anything. Rogues face is so so. And the lack of cool fire effects for pyro is bs. I was shocked you gave the set such a high rating. The cyclops dark phoenix pack was a killer cause of the great headsculpts.
I don’t understand what this is... it’s not based on the comics not on the movie so what is it ?
The fact that the Rogue head is seated at the correct height, but has lollipop means that the neck on that chest piece is just too short. They need to adjust it so the neck itself is longer, while the neck peg is shorter. But they won't, and thus far, every existing female chest piece Hasbro's using has severe built-in lollipop, except for maybe the teenage buck. It is what it is.

@@AnthonysCustoms Now that I think about it, they do look skinny, but are too muscular at the same time, as if the actual the legs would be too skinny for the body if they were to be made normal (not peak human, just like your average ex-high school football player).

Rogue looks old. They gave her old woman cheeks. It ruined it for me. I wanted so bad to like this because I like Rogue and I like that costume, but it's Old Rogue. Just ruined.
