I like that Anthony seems to buy his own figures which means he can be totally honest and not be influenced like some reviewers that toy companies just give them toys to review & promote
I've seen a few reviews where he's been given the figure. It seems to have 0 influence on his opinion. That's why I watch these when I want a review of stuff, and watch some of the other "review" channels, when I'm just looking more for a showcase of it.

the new Scarlet Witch head is based on art, possibly mix of Adam Hughs and the Dodsons... The new head sculpt is actually an improvement and Marvel Legends needs to move towards the new head rather than the over sized head of the original.
I don't like the calm head, I'll probably never use that. But the angry head is great. It's practically the face he was making on the cover of Jim Lee's X-Men #1.
Quicksilver's hair on that unmasked Magneto head might look good.

Out of all the action figure reviewers no one does a better technical review then you. I saw someone remove Magnetos helmet and now they can push it further down, huge improvement. I should receive my set in the next few days.
That bit towards the end about the figures lacking any sort of character or soul is why I still prefer ToyBiz’s figs overall even though some of them are problematic, they just feel more honest in a way. Thanks for echoing my sentiments

I saw some other reviews before this and while people did have similar gripes about Quicksilver I still knew before I clicked on yours that you were going to rip this pack to shreds and you didn't disappoint.

I cancelled my order a few weeks back and waiting for MAFEX to pick up the slack. Glad someone else noticed babyface-neto and big-head-silver. They'll be in a vintage wave or something with better head sculpts and paint, so everyone will buy them again

You know who is going to nail down a damn near perfect 1/12 scale comic style Magneto? -Mafex, when they get around to making him. I will bet that his body proportions will be better than Hasbro Marvel Legends counterpart & will probably have a cape with bendy wire in it along with a plethora of accessories.

I am from the future and you are correct!lol So much so, that I have Mafex and ML Age of Apocalypse Magneto and Mafex is utterly superior. The ML is good, but the dull red and part reusage kind of hurt it. I will add that the unmasked head on the ML isn't far off from Mafex's once you add a wash and repaint the hair.

The scarlet witch is great. Really like it. The magneto is good. Mine fared better than Anthony’s as far as paint goes. The head is not good. It’s better than the old purple magneto but not as good as the black magneto. I don’t give a damn about quicksilver so I used his head on the magneto and it does look pretty good as “younger” magneto. Stuck the angry head under his arm facing up and it just looks like he’s holding his helmet.
Here’s a crazy idea. I was looking at an extra black night head I have and noticed he has a full head sculpt under there. It might be possible to pull out the black knight head and swap it into the magneto helmet. I’m almost willing to try it myself but I’m afraid of ruining two head sculpts.
Scarlett Witch's face is probably inspired by the Adam Hughes design. A much softer face, but damn it's the default face Adam Hughes uses on all his female characters. But I bet they pulled his concept from his renditon, Adam's. Nice review!
The wierd thing is, Quicksilver looks like his Ultimate Comics version who some times is colored with silver hair. But I don't know why Hasbro didn't make the hair White?

Thank you for your honest and passionate review ! After seeing what Hasbro did with the Overwatch and Power Rangers line recently,I wanted to come back to Legends. Thinking that maybe they've improved since the hyperion figure(Have not bought a single one since then, matter of fact, sold my legends collection). After looking at the figures in store and watching your reviews and others for a while, I realized that their products are hit or miss. And they miss waaaaay too much for me to go back and invest in it again. I will stick to some imports and Neca for now. At least you don't feel like they're openly giving you subpar products for the money. Again, Thank you for what you do man!
I genuinely don't understand why they made a new head. The red and black helmet looks great and has the bushy brows. Honestly, I'd rather use the gorilla Mags head. Its upsetting how much better the Quick Silver head looks in capturing that Jim Lee/COTA younger look. I wonder about getting another quicksilver head and swapping the black/red's hair. I really wish they have use the Grim Reaper body for this too.

It’s obviously a Magneto head. They just used it instead of making a Quicksilver head.

I get the complaints but I think this is supposed to be more of a Kirby/Byrne Magneto than Jim Lee. All of the costumes in this pack are circa 1970 looks.
Agreed both Wanda’s are good the only problem I have with the older one is the heels it’s a pain getting her to stand wish hasbro used differently feet for her

I didn't mind the Quicksilver blue or the head-sculpt, but the lightning painting was half-assed for sure. I dug Wanda a lot, it was HUGE upgrade compared to the old one to me, but Magneto was definitely meh here and there for sure. Totally agreed with everything you said about Erik.

how does this magneto compare to the amazing yamaguchi one? i hate plastic capes in general so i replaced it with a cloth cape with bendy wires
i had to pull the helmet off of my black magneto because it wasnt glued on in the proper position. i wonder if i can just pull off the new helmet and stick it on the black magneto head. the proportions of the helmet will still be off, but i think it would probably be an improvement.
For the face, a huge improvement.

Got mine yesterday in the mail, opened it up and thought the same thing about everyone. Especially Magneto, they done fucked my boy up. As much as I dont want to, I may end up getting the Amazing Yamaguchi one with a new cape and replace this one on my shelf.
Ok first of all..... Finally someone who's has the same opinion as me. I actually looked at other review of this figure and their like it and I was like "What's wrong with them" and finally YOU the one that realizes that these figures have some problems and thank God that I subscribed and watched your channel for three years you still not disappoint me. Thank you for making this review and satisfied the heck out of me.
And by the way the legs and thighs on magneto always disturbed me on how skinny they were since the spider uk I watched on your review. So anyway thank you for your honest review for pointing out at people that doesn't realize things like us. 👍

I'm a little bit afraid with this Magneto... Maybe Hasbro decides to release a AoA Magneto but just as an interchangeable head for this body. And man, I really hope not
Yeah, head sculpt looks real good on Scarlet Witch but it's too small. The first one was too big and now this one is too small. It's smaller than the majority of the head sculpts used on the female teen buck.

Your commentary on the aesthetics of these toys is not without merritt. The company's producing these toys, in so many cases, are without the heart and soul that needs to be invested in these products.They continuously push out the toys and theyr not up to the standards they should be at. We the people need reviews like yours to show the industry that their products aren't of the quality we pay for, there are too many examples of bad toys out there and we the people need to hold the producers accountable.

I've been aiting yeeeeeaaars to get the Jim Lee X-men and is depresing that Hasbro is not punting enough effort on the crap they´re doing. I mean, not eery figure is bad, actually some are amazing, but i'ts going to be a very inconsistent collection with figures that blow your mind and others that suck balls deep. I'm tired of this...

I'm already painting a red guardian body to replace this awful magneto body. The head looks ok on it. Thankfully the unmasked helmet looks so good. Good review man, so disappointed with this set, but it's $60 for custom materials

I sometimes love hearing your rants on your reviews😂 and I’m glad I saw this because I was thinking about using that angry head for my mezco magneto but I have decided to pass. I would probably recommend the mezco magneto I think it looks a lot more well done probably the best magneto on the market right now and the body portions are very nicely done and the accessories are great
I'm still holding out hoping this year is the year we get a good classic magneto
We still have Mezco and Mafex might do it so maybe get the Mezco one and see. Good review as always it's sad to be an X men fan now.

A used one of these popped up on Amazon for about $50 and I bought it. This review is pretty much what I thought it was going to be about this set, Hasbro does have a history of being pretty lazy when they know things are gonna sell no matter what. That said, the only Magneto I have is the new white one and I don't have QS or SW, so even with the faults, I want it.

I can get past the quicksilver color choices but not the head. The looks more like Magneto you should make a head for quicksilver and i might actually buy it. I like the style of quicksilver's head in the second art work shown in video.
