You can use the flame Demi goblin glider as a flame effect for Pyro and also phoenix flaming phoenix accessory too
I think Rogue and Pyro were packed together because they fought each other in The Cure episode of X-Men: The Animated Series. Also Toy Biz had a Rogue vs. Pyro Steel Mutants pack.

I think Pyro's look is from the Animated series. You might be able to use the small blast and smoke effects that come with War Machine/ target exclusive black widow.

Yeah I agree man hasbro has got to stop skimping out on accessories, I mean I’m fine with some of the cheap stuff they pull but no more fake colorful guns for realistic characters and definitely more hands and power effects, those are their biggest weakness ya know ?

8:10 - Yeah, just look at those panels. Having an Avalanche & Pyro set (with flame effects) would've given collectors what they wanted...and a much better value. Hasbro only does that on special occasions.

Solid looking set. I would have preferred her look from Uncanny Avengers/ No Surrender but I guess this is as close as we're gonna get to that look.
They were team mates, working for Mystique before Rogue reformed and joined the X-Men. That's the only connection I can think of, though the outfits don't mesh for the timeframe, or at least Rogue's doesn't.

You’re right, this thing is about $15 too expensive. Actually might cancel my order and get Pyro on the secondary market. Only way to combat these increased prices where we get the same amount of product or even less of it.

Whenever I read X-men I hear the animated voices but not for wolverine and Xavier. For them I either hear Hugh Jackman or Steve Blum for wolverine & obviously Patrick Stewart for professor X. Great review 🔥

Nice review Boog. The legs (1:41) on this Rogue do look better than the thinner legs of the older versions. Heck she almost looks real @ 1:20.You know I could never figure out why Pyro would have those cables hanging around loosely so. I would have designed a suit with the cables built in the arms of the suit itself.
On the Jim lee rogue she has the moonstone legs...so does this one I believe

I was happy with both figs but I agree more accessories for the extra $10. Pyro should have extra ‘splayed hands and fire constructs. An actual stream of fire would be appropriate. This Rogue absorbed Wonder Man’s powers for an extended period during Uncanny Avengers so she could have had an ionic fist or purple eyes. I wold have liked a hoody too.

The 1st head is wack. The 2nd's not too fly either. Classic still stomps the modern to me. But that head switch works.
Also,Pyro was not an original member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. He was a member of Mystique’s Brotherhood,which was the third incarnation.

Its amazing how the paint details on the old figs kill the mcdonalds happy meal paint on modern legends. Yeah this 2 pack isnt worth 50$ to me. No fire animal for pyro and rogues face doesnt scream southern belle

Has proposed to with supposed to make them a long time ago but they kept having setbacks like green green and white Rogue was supposed to come out with the build-a-figure puck set but they canceled it at the last minute and the Pyro they keep talking about remaking it and they never did until now

@@dbeane43 yep. The pinless is 50 and the specific movie figs are 50 Remember the love triangle 3 pack was 60 dollars and that had the same amount of accessories as well as the Magneto 3 pack. So now a two pack is worth 50.......those have to be the reasons if I was to give an educated guess.
