I saw this a few months ago. Because it was an expensive flop, I was expecting it to be an overblown misfire but I really liked it as well. It was very well made, great photography and it really gave a good impression of the harsh climate and the suffering of the characters. This sort of film is never likely to be a huge commercial success but it deserves to be better known. Great review once again, thanks!
@dcasey77 Glad you liked it! The film really blew our mind at how awesome he was. Well done to Connery as well for playing an old man so incredibly! He really is underrated! I don't think it's been properly released, we had to buy a copy from Spain to watch it!!!
