Thanks for response; His Irish accent was decent in Darby O'Gill and the Little People (1959) but seemed to deteriorate over years to its worst as Malone in The Untouchables (1987). At the end of the day accent is a side issue as he usually put in a good performance. Have you reviewed The Offence yet?
@NiallJoe71 Yeah think our mic was a bit dodgy for this one.... the more recent reviews have better sound... Let us know what you think (I think Connery's great-grandfather was Irish... or something)
These fellas are pretty good but I cannot hear it very well. By the way Connery's roots on his father's side were actually Irish if I'm not mistaken; his middle name was Sean after all.
@NiallJoe71 Completely agree about The Untouchables... we loved The Offence, check our Channel, it should be there! (And however awful the film may be you can generally depend on Connery for a good performance!
