There is a good play on words regarding fiona volpe. She is Italian played by an Italian actress Luciana paluzzi. Volpe is fox in Italian, hence the red hair. She was the original choice for domino but she preferred volpe

you're right about thunderball being a bit drawn out. it's very drawn out to be honest.
