i think a lot just wing it, im glad there are people like him who try and actually succeed, happy for him.

Damn, this guy seems to know exactly what to say to every question and criticism. I usually hate people like that because they give off an air of arrogance, but he acknowledges where he's lacking and embraces it. Good on him.

That last ‘moment’ joke when considering Deborah Meadens offer really ticked me 😂 What a fantastic pitch, and personality, he had the dragons spellbound even with his self deprecating honesty about lack of business success. He was so positive, clear, knowledgeable and focussed, after all that’s what he was there for, to get Dragons support to realise his dream.
Dude loved his product, believed in it and evangelised it. Passion and credibility combined, regardless of what one might think of the product.

I agree. A real inventor is a rare and precious thing. As Deborah said to Pete that he could have 100 ideas and among them is one that is great. This is the difference between a true inventor and someone with a great idea. The inventor will have more bad ideas but also more good ideas than that someone with one great idea. As Thomas Edison said: genius is 1 % inspiration and 99 % perspiration".

That guy was amazing. He performed his pitch and never let up and offering his product/s for 25% of his Company for a measly €25,000 was brilliant. What he did do was unearth Peter Jones and Jenny’s insecurities in being in the company of a master communicator. Bravo. Deborah made an offer because he is good, his Cat Feeder is excellent and she is a generous lady with a secure mindset.
I have to say, he is the best person I have seen come into the den! I would buy the product too! He sold me when he mentioned raw food and putting ice underneath to keep it fresh! Fantastic!

Nothing close to "outrageously confident" about this pitch. He did a brilliant pitch and knew all aspects of his business and competition. Maybe pricing should be improved, but that is easy considering the cost per unit delivered.
no matter how much you know of your business, once you stand in front of them it is hard to deliver without having great confidence. He was well above that with sharp answers. Outrageously sharp answers. its clickbait but not too far from the truth

To me this is one of my favourite episodes...It's very inspiring, if you've ever had an business idea or any other idea you believe in. And overall the production team got it right, the intro music, the selected scenes, the outro. I actually bookmarked this 👌

@@alyanome It exists. China manufactures a huge number of products. Both good ones with proper QC and bad ones that are shoddy. Sure it takes some time to find it, but generally it's worth it if you're paying much much less. But the real problem is, these two products are not very practical.
