I can’t plug in the wifi cable. The socket has some sort of shiny rectangular chip in the way. Why your logic board doesn’t have it?

It's a safety retainer, you can just carefully pry it away. Some factories don't put them on.

Great video but it suxxxxx if you have the early to mid 2009 15" model lol. The board is stuck to the back panel with some sort of adhesive and no it's not the ports.. it's hard for me to imagine they soldered it to the chassis but it is Apple 😆.

    Hello. I need a help with a macpro motherboard a1398 820-00146
I have 2 capacitors burned near the chip thunderbolt u2800
    The chip is not working
The computer turns on, emits sound, displays video via the hdmi port, but does not display an image on the retina display. The thunderbolt doors and the usbs doors on the left do not work.
    My questions are:
Are these problems caused by the u2800 component or should I start looking for another faulty part? If anyone can help me with this question I thank

    Hi
    I have a macbook pro mb985 model of 2009.
I want to increase performance, but do not want to buy a new macbook pro,
Please tell me, can I install the logic board in 2012 with the i7 processor of 2012, because this will actually be a new computer, is the new board for macbook pro 2009 suitable?
    thanks!
    regards

It will not work. What you can do, is upgrade your hard drive to a Solid State Disk and that will improve performance by 5 times.
