What is the weight of the plane with the engine included? And what is the weight of the pilot ? I'm curious because my plane's weight is about 210 pounds with 5 gallons of gas in it, and my weight is about 200 pounds I'm not sure is its going to take me up in the sky Very nice plane you have on your video
It was less than 254lbs. Rotax 277 approx 28hp. Pilot weight 175lbs. It will fly a 200 lb pilot just do a shallow climb out. Once up to altitude you'll be fine. If you have a bigger engine than mine....no worries.
can you tell me the redrive ratio, prop diameter and pitch and what rpm you are seeing in full throttle take off, i just gather this data when i can, thanks
The redrive was a 2:5:8 not sure on prop diameter but at least 64-65" the rotax 277 would hit about 6000rpm at full throttle. It flew the plane very well in the 4800-5200 rpm.
