that site can no longer be reached.
Used the link above and it did not work. Message said server not found.
Ok. Second link worked..sort of.
The website for the company that makes these is also not functional. The home page is active but none of the links work.
I am seriously considering one or more of these but can't even reach the company. I wonder if there is a limit on the size or number of panels that can be used or if two or units can be joined?
So is us finding an Oregon Milwaukie store camping firm..Apache in Coracamuth mall area
Love to see families doing stuff together! Hope you make great memories with this cool trailer!
Now all the bears will think their meals come in Tupperware.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
😂😂😂😂👍
This is very cool! What a perfect idea for converting your utility trailer into a small camper. Great job guys. It's people like you that make life enjoyable and affordable for the ordinary working man.
The swing/70's era Porn stache music mix is a nice touch.
Kinda cool. I like the kitchen and table stuff for my tent camping adventures.
Very cool concept, good luck...
Awesome idea and very unique look, if you can just get enough production and sales to get the cost way way down this could really help a lot of people :D
So currently $6,000:00 + shipping for the base model (bare bones basics) then you need a 8’X5’ 1,100lb capacity flat bed trailer +/-$1,200:00.
So you could get yourself into one for around $8,000:00, light enough to tow behind a bicycle, if you’re the hulk, no set up hassle when you arrive at camp no flappy canvas side walls well insulated and simple enough to make your trailer investment a multi use purchase.
A little more like tent camping if you stick with the base model but if you go with all the additional options you will have all the amenities of a really good pop up camper without needing a truck to pull it plus the above mentioned advantages.
Oh just be sure to spend a few dollars on 4 leveling jacks for the trailer, nothing like sleeping on slope !
I'm looking to Buy one... I've had several pop-ups and pull behinds in the past. The last new pop-up I bought brand new for over $10,000. Yes it had every option imaginable, but i never used 1/2 of them. After a couple of years, even with more than recommended maintenance, there were paint fade issues, wood rot in places, leaks and such not even exposed to the elements. And the thing weighed a ton! This design gives me the option to do what I want and save where I want. And at around a 1000lbs on a trailer or even less, I bet the tongue weight is so light, I could tow it with almost anything...Definitely looking forward to the purchase...
You could move it around with one hand! Yes, it does make the mind fly off into inspiration land!
My birds fit in there!😊
Greetings:
I have a design suggestion to improve the aerodynamic efficiency of the side door model campers. With the indentation area for the door, wind could swirl in that area and create sufficient lateral force to cause the camper to drift sideways or fishtail, while being towed at highway speeds. Several potential effects of this are: reduced gas mileage of the towing vehicle, due to drag; additional strain on the structure of the trailer being used; as well as increased tire wear, as the trailer wheels drift out of alignment with the towing vehicle.
My suggestion is that you incorporate an external panel addition that matches the aerodynamics of the rest of the body. One way is to have the addition hinged at the top and bottom, with the split point about 1/3 of the way up from the base. The top piece would pivot up to become a solid awning over the door (with appropriate gas shocks to keep it elevated), and the bottom piece would pivot down to become a set of steps. The other suggestion is to have the outer panel split vertically, where it would operate like a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer door, albeit without the steps.
I'm not an engineer, so I don't pretend to know exactly how this would work. I just come up with fits of inspiration every now and then. I hope this suggestion helps.
yeah okay.
excellent.
A pickup model will be available shortly.
Pick up good..its missing
PERFECTION!
I like it!
Much more lightweight than a camper or pop up camper. Any vehicle can pull it almost. Just be sure to anchor it down to the trailer. I would also put it under a shelter when not it use.
How funny your towing with an element
Haans, you apparently don't know plastics. Our camper is tougher, lighter and more durable than any other hard sided camper. It is built with the same process used for white water kayaks that ride the rocky rapids. It is mold and mildew resistant, and impervious to rot. It does not have paint that will crack, chip, fade or peel. It won't dent or fracture. The panels are filled with highly insulative foam and sealed tight away from condensation and vermin. Plastic can be molded to any shape and is not limited to sheet material. It is the ideal material for a camper.
Your car is about 50% plastic by volume. In fact, BMW and some other leading car manufacturers are designing all plastic cars, including the engine, for the future. Boeing's latest 787 Dreamliner is primarily plastic.
Plastic is NOT cheap. It is the material of the future, not because of price, but because of its tremendous adaptability.
These are great structures for emergency deployments, homeless shelters, hunting cabins...so low maintenance too. Great concept and design.
How about germs, mold and other healthy stuff that simply loves plastic?
It's interesting, do you have problems getting in to campgrounds wi th h it. I know some campgrounds will not even let in late model rvs.
It's a fantastic idea. But you may as well sell them fully assembled and with a better table at least. I would love this, but I could never afford one. It's sad, this idea could really put comfort camping at the reach of many more people, if it were feasible to make it as cheap as possible. Maybe we can do this with plywood?
Cool! I could do assembling components by myself, very easy. But i am still in cold humid windy unbearble england by myself at moment. This one is not suitabale to harsh weather in england, do you offer insulated panels ? How much will it cost in total?
Wear did u get that trailer u hv it on and what size is it?
How much for the trailer?
could one of these be installed on the back of a pickuptruck instead of an a trailer?
Juss wait 👌
So, once assembled, will it withstand the force of going down a highwsy at 60+ mph?
Yep. That and more. I towed it 5,000 miles averaging 70 mph. No problem.
I'm a big fan of plastics in a lot of applications. I've owned three Fieros, a Lumina AOV and a Pontiac Transport van as well as two Corvettes. So I like plastic cars. I'm looking at a small inexpensive trailer to live and as I plan to split my time between the Philippines and texas. I no longer own a home in the US so I'm trying to keep my costs low. I have a Toyota Tacoma with a fiberglass utility body for additional storage. This low cost lightweight trailer might just be the thing I'm looking for. My question is, how well does the plastic hold up to the UV rays if outside for extended periods of time?
Some version of this would be a fantastic solution for the homeless problem if camps could be made with these type of units. We have been conditioned in America that everything to do with shelter has to be insanely expensive whether it's a house, apartment or even campers.

Does this camper have a bathroom? Where is the toilet and the sewage holding tank?
Nah, toilets are overrated - you just go and shit in the woods with this one...
if it only came with a floor, would have loved to put this in the middle of my woods without a trailer
I wish these were actually affordable cuz the people who need them the most are the ones who can’t afford them
this thing is going to be very hot like living inside of a Greenhouse. the concept is good... how do you get around that that heat buildup and moisture is going to be very uncomfortable. along with the poisonous gase from HEATED plastics. so how do you get by that?
The Tail Feather camper is well insulated and stays cooler than most. It can be easily fitted with an air conditioner for those times open windows and ceiling vents aren't enough. The plastics used in the camper are safe. It is the same stuff your milk comes in. If you are worried about plastic outgassing you shouldn't drive your car. You spend far more time in it with all its heated plastic than in a camper.
Like most RVs, an air conditioner can be installed. As far as the heated plastic, Polyethylene is rated as a food grade "safe" plastic. You spend more time with off-gassing plastics in your car.
Did anybody else notice that not one nail was used to screw the camper pieces to the floor. It could just fly right off on the high way. LOL !!
Dude, did you notice the tie-down rings on each panel and the straps securing it to the trailer?
This is taking too long to complete - I need something I can pull cord and camper form itself with a big bang and lots of flames around...and smoke, white and black smoke! How much?
Way too expensive. But good idea.
way too expensive
How much?
And what size trailer do u need?
Good Question 😉🤔🕵️
Does it have to be taken apart to move it or do you leave it assembled? Doesn’t look like a one man job
The parts are all very light and easily handled. One person can assemble the camper in an hour or two... no problem. www.quitelite.com for more info.
Wheres the price?
I have cash money and an 8x4 harbor freight trailer. Where do I buy one tomorrow?
How much do they cost? Were fo you get them?
quitelite.com
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST????????
Yea, NOP!
How can I get more information on the units, and more on what type trailer you used and what the prices will be. Thank You for you time and trouble. Roy R. PS can my answer come on mt email.
Visit www.quitelite.com
at first i thought this thing was a porto poty
A fully insulated porta potty with an electrical system that can go down the road a 70 mph.
What is price this
Go to www.tailfeathercamper.com
So it is one of those "call" or "contact" for price situations? Cause I cant find the price anywhere on that website. +Khalid bin swidan, This page shows the price they paid ($8000) tinyhouseblog.com/tiny-house-for-sale/small-modular-shelter-sale/
$7,500 for a 5'x10' plastic "camper" ? Yea.. good luck with that. I personally think you're drinking your bath water.
I like that🎙️👏👌 personally,Juss as a Creative 💭🛐👏
web site: www.quitelite.com/ tealinternational.com didn't work for me.
You buy a RV for too much money then crap it up with RV type cabinets taking up all your room inside, wow! Make up your mind , tiny home, RV or camp trailer?
Yep, that's the beauty of it. You can make it a covered utility trailer, an RV with as many or as few cabinets as you want, or a tiny home. Customize it any way you want. See more at QuiteLite.com
For the money i could get a used t@b or casita fibreglass trailer with running water stove and bathroom etc. This is a stupid idea
Maybe, but can you disassemble it and store it in the garage or basement when not using it and still have a utility trailer to haul things.
Crappy design. You lose a lot of space with the design of it. The cabinets and fixtures are cheap. Much better products out there.
