In this episode, we went on a ghost hunt in an abandoned 300-year-old cottage built on a plague pit!

Guys! Your channel deserves a hell of a lot more subs than what you currently have. You’re true to the craft and your evidence seems to be purely organic. I can tell by the shock in your voices and how excited you become. And when other channels hear the slightest sound or movement, they run right to “it’s paranormal, I tell you!” and that’s it, they consider nothing else. J and E always search the natural or man made cause of a sound or a movements instead of saying “it was a g-g-ghost!” In fact, they find the natural answers much more often than not. And this makes all difference in the world when you’re trying to find answers about the afterlife and want to be taken seriously. Unlike some other paranormal channels or actual TV (eh hm! looking at you Travel channel). I will be a member so we can keep J and E on the hunt for answers. We should all consider it. The work they do is of the utmost importance to everyone. And thank you for doing that work, boys. And you’re doing it with a contagious humor and genuine laughter that cracks me up!

@@tanyataylor1134 Since I stopped having artificial sweetener in drinks my blood pressure and pulse rate have all returned from high to normal levels so I think this is good advice.

Joe, check sugar levels. It only takes seconds to drop and will make you sweat, shake and passout. Living off of energy drinks can cause sugar drop once body uses caffeine.
Energy drinks should be banned 🚫

If that was a panic attack, they suck. Your body goes absolutely crazy and you are convinced you might die. Afterwards, you still feel horrible and you feel like you’ve run a marathon. I used to get these when I was younger and wouldn’t wish them on my worst enemy.
I was taking a drink of tea when that kitchen door slammed. Nearly spit it across my keyboard. fml. That plus the sound of your fingers sliding around the camera rig makes me think someone is touching my ear buds.
I need to be at work in 7 hours, this was supposed to relax me so I can go to bed.

Seriously guys, that was hard to watch. I'm an ER nurse and I think Joe wasn't wrong about the long hours and energy drinks, more the energy drinks...I don't even know if most of those things are regulated in any kind of way and they all have like...non-food-ingredients...I'm not sure how they are legally sold honestly and they can and do give healthy kids arrythmias. So pounding a bunch of those giant cans scares me more, medically, than a plague-pit demon. That house is seriously effed tho. like next level. Take care of yourselves, and each other, so we can all enjoy Ghost Theory for years to come.

Yeah. By now you know that excessive consumption of energy drinks is bad. My son went through this at age 16 and I called paramedics. Them and his doctor said. Go easy on those drinks. They can cause high anxiety and it can feel like one is having a heart attack.

Sounds like from the symptoms Joe's had too much caffeine esp in energy drinks which explains how he feels - that was my first thought (from seeing it in clinical settings) - didn't think for one moment that Joe was doing a Zack 😂. But the footsteps walking around downstairs that sent chills. Shame about no locked of cameras down there to capture the footsteps.

Omw this really looks like a temporary possession! I tried to look and see whether the white mist enters you from the side but the angle changed. Especially the energy draining from you, after you had a long working week it makes you more susceptible... one of the plague ghosts probably died of a heart attack and wanted you to experience what they felt😱😱😱. Here in Norwich, Norfolk we have a building The Samson and Hercules that was built over a plague pit, it used to be a disco back in the day and the dancers were literally dancing on graves. Also, a lot of the churches have high ground around them, as these too were used for the plague victims. as in mass burials, Thank you for the video, a beautiful house.,

‘A 300 year cottage built on a plague pit.’ What a hook. Seems like the British equivalent of building on a Native American burial ground here in the States. It definitely sounds like you had a panic attack or were being affected by something else. Scary stuff. Those were absolutely footsteps.
my brother had a similar experience one time while viewing a house rental with an agent. He still cannot explain it. He said it felt like something passed through him. He felt very confused as well as sick. Found out later a woman was killed there. He never experienced anything similar again.

From what I have experienced before sometimes there can be a wierd energy transfer, especially if you are empathetic or sensitive to ghosts. I was in a house once at a historic village and started feeling awful, hot and nauseous further along the tour the guide said that the historic owners of the house had passed away from dysentery. 😮
I've had panic attacks, and
at 14:25 you described it perfectly for yourself. Sensory, nervous system and/or emotional overwhelm, freeze/fight or flight, mixed with energy fluctuations fatigue-hyper alert, any cluster of panic symptoms that overwhelm you all at once.
There was only one time I felt like that from an actual place, it was at the Casa Blanca Resort and casino in an all mirrored hotel room. Forgot the room number. Been in mirrored rooms before, hotels, even had panic attacks not from a space. Though I don't get them often, and can be from other causes, but that one room had a presence to it and I did not feel comfortable or safe. Creepy!

So I literally just started watching your videos tonight and I can already say you don't have to worry about trust with us! You can usually tell whether or not people have integrity pretty quick and you guys have it.
As for how Joe was feeling it sounded like his blood sugar got really low. My brother is a diabetic and when he goes into a low he can be completely muddled. With running on energy drinks for too long your body will start to burn through energy sources pretty quick. You guys should buy a roll of glucose tablets. Whenever I start to feel like that or my brother seems to be low we take one of the tablets and within a few minutes it clears up. They sell them over the counter and if you get the orange flavored ones they're pretty damn tasty! Hope you guys are well and keep up the great content!

Such an interesting place. I had a friend who got really sick at a tuberculosis hospital investigation. And knew someone who started to get really sick in a new house and found out the previous owner died of cancer in their bedroom. They both only felt sick in the buildings. Really interesting considering the history of the cottage that you felt ill. Especially with the sounds. I can see why the previous owners decided to move on lol.
Tuberculosis is a disease that is air borne. Some types of TB are very contagious and I'm not sure if it can or cannot be contagious after several years. I just know that it is very contagious and becoming more antibiotic resistant like a lot of diseases.
See, this is what I love about you guys: explaining that although getting sick and feeling weird, fast heartbeat etc, you had been surviving on energy drinks for several days. Any other ghost hunter would say they were being affected by the paranormal. Perhaps you were, but by putting ALL the facts out there, you can let us make up our own minds. Love it!

Yes, I'm probably sounding a bit cavalier, but I have lived in a 200-year-old haunted house since I was a child. Not that big a difference from what I deal with now. Just a different location.

This is the first of your videos i have watched after seeing Casper sight react to you and liking what i saw. This place was creepy, like the sort of old farm houses we used to explore as teens when looking for a place to basically be out of sight and get up to the mischief you do as a kid growing up in a small village. Those strange noises and bumps that are ways just out of reach ring alot of bells with me and really start freaking gou out after a while, even if they arent threatening. Great video guys and now im a subscriber, really felt for you when you came over a bit peeky! Cold sweat and fast pulse is rough at the best of times! All the best guys
Joe said he was feeling dizzy and had ringing in his ear. I know this is an older video but I hope he was okay! That is scary. In his case, it probably had something to do with that place you were investigating so hopefully the dizziness disappeared. In my case, it was medical and very scary, too! 😞

I've been a sensitive my entire life. The symptoms u are describing I have every time I enter a building with dark energy in it or when I meet someone who's soul is dark. The only thing different is that you don't have a headache. That is usually the 1st thing I get
Need to check ✔️ under the Sink where the water is turned ON and OFF when fixing faucets.
As a retired rn, you should keep water on you to keep hydrated. Snacks to keep sugar levels up.
The worrying part is the pulse, sweating, and radiating pain. Stay away from energy drinks! I hope you followed up with your doctor. It could just be a panic attack, your busy week with energy drinks, or angina.

This was so scary. You caught so much activity. I was so nervous watching. I was frightening when you started feeling things and by the end. That was not you. You looked totally wiped out, lost in way. I was very worried by the end. That goodness you are ok. And what ever that noise down by the stairs was just nuts.

This is extreme to another level guys.. you can just tell your the real deal and 💯 genuine.. I myself have had many spiritual encounters and know just how scared you must be.. I know the more you believe the more you'll encounter and you two get right in the zone.. I've liked and subscribed and like others have said going start binge watching as I'm instantly hooked. I know of an awesome place for activity if your interested here in hampshire! Please look after yourselves and I don't want to sound like mum but leave the energy drinks alone if you can (as I have) they do so much harm 👊👍

@@GhostTheory it's knowle hospital mental asylums abandoned graveyard... look it up on here there are plenty of videos... roughly 5,500 bodies buried over the course of 100 years on an acre of land with only a handful of headstones 🪦 I've known of this place since a young lad (I'm now 45) it really does have an electric atmosphere and so spooky.. I promise you me and my friends have seen and spoken to ghosts when we were teens although we didn't know it at the time as they apear human just not right and I have half a dozen or so quality ghost pics myself from between then till now.. many stories including a few of my own experiences, this place is highly active, I was even banned from my local fb nostalgia group for trying to talk about it

Ah that’s actually where the first scene of the screaming forest was filmed a couple of years ago, we have actually been thinking of going back there for a ghost hunt at some point soon so will definitely let you know if we do 👻 are you on Facebook or Instagram? Makes it easier to plan things

He’s okay was just tired.
I mean I host events in haunted locations and sometimes spirits like to show you feelings they felt, like bum legs, heart or breathing problems. You never know maybe they were trying to communicate with u, especially as it came on so suddenly, I’d think the energy drink etc would be gradual and longer lasting. Just a thought.
That was one creepy house but the investigation was too short. I want more of this house.

The best way to capture things happening is set up cameras everywhere at different angles (overlapping) and then LEAVE THE BUILDING.
