What helps me with congestion inside my sinuses 100% of the time is just trying to breath through the stuffiness, by keeping my mouth or the open side of my nose closed. Once I convinced my brain that I would suffocate otherwise it fully opens up within seconds.

'Nasadhoti' with warm salted water is the best. It is a yogic process of passing water through one nasal passage and getting it out by another nasal passage.
It is done by a 'neti pot' - a small kettlelike pot.
But there is a simple and modern version of it, sold online and perhaps in some medical shops.
I only take a small pressable plastic bottle whose mouth fits one of my nasal opening. I fill the bottle with two pinches of table salt and slightly warm water, tilt my head to one side, put the pout of the bottle in the nasal passage which is elevated, keep my mouth half open, and press the bottle to push the water inside. The water reflects on the nasal roof and comes out with all the mucus inside through the other nasal passage.
Watch some CZcams videos on it, you can get some idea.
After some failed attempts, you can do it well for sure.😂 Repeat several times, alternating the two nasal passages.
Try it, and thank me for the relief afterwards.
Note: Cold, non-saline water will be utterly uncomfortable. Always make sure that the water is slightly warm and the salt is properly dissolved.

Tilt your head back, then pinch your nostrils closed and hold your breath for 10-15 seconds.

When my nose is stuffy its usually do to irritants like dust and stuff. What I imagine happens is the blood vessels in my nose expand, in effort to stop stuff from getting inhaled. Not sure if its true or not, BUT after some practice, I can mentally relax the blood vessels in my nose, resulting in a clear nose. High learning curve. Usually takes several minutes of meditation-like practice to see results.

my guess is the lymphatic system gets drained. the body dumps all the lymph from the legs, torso, left arm into the left clavicle area, and lymph from the head and right arm into the right clavicle area.
when the head, neck, and shoulders are stiff, there isn't much drainage.
Increased cardiovascular flow increases lymph flow and releases tension surrounding the lymph ducts. lymph is also mostly returned via muscle movement counter to arterial and venous flow caused by the heart

I actually find it better to not press my tongue against the roof of my mouth, because it seems to move it the opposite way to when pressing the forehead point. I get a headache if i do both at once. Is great for clearing clogged sinus

This only works if your stuffy nose is due to congestion. Won't help with swollen nasal passages

There is a better method to unblock your nose and drain nasal cavity. Hold your nose and blow abstructing aur flow. Causes the cavity to expand and then turn your head up. Draining the mucus into throat. And works best.

  • @SlouchingBadger

Probably not doctor approved, but I discovered a way to unblock your nose. Pinch your nose shut and try to blow air through your nose, but not so hard that your ears pop. Hold for about 5 seconds with a moderate amount of pressure then let go and inhale. Swallow all that sweet snot.
