Nice. Just got the Viper in black plum jigged bone. It's gonna need sharpening but I wanted to test out this Sharp maker on something less pretty. Great video.
That's a good looking knife👍I've never tried sharpening 80CRV2, I don't have any knives with that steel. Sure looked easy! I always enjoy your sharpening videos. Have a great night, E!
I have that stone and it's definitely a good one, unfortunately diamond plates wear out rather quickly, especially if you're sharpening "Super Steels", I purchased a 600 and 1000 grit Naniwa Resin Bonded stones for just a bit more than what the DMT's cost. The Naniwa's even leave a better finish in my opinion. Great to see younger generation freehanding.
Hi Erica, which micron diamond emulsion do you prefer on your strop,4 micron or does it really matter? I noticed the 4 micron jende stropping emulsion is hard to catch in stock, love your videos btw 👍🏻
Hi, Erica. How are ya? Thanks for the video. You said 600 is a good all around grit. What would you consider a must have 3-5 grit stones? And isn’t orange your favorite color? I hope so. I found some orange 3D printing filament and going to do some stuff in orange before shipping.
@@ryanorionwotanson4568 depends on which stone you want. I got the whole set. Just look at what you want on the website I linked and the price will be listed for each item. (:

Hi Erica, you're so talented.
Far from it my friend! Micro beveling is something anyone can do!
💯 on switching hands while sharpening, never understood how a lot of sharpeners don't and still get good results 🤷♂️
I just really like seeing everything!!! I legit can’t sharpen away from myself haha
@@ericasedc No kidding, although I'll also pick up a smaller stone and sharpen that way that I can get it close enough to see EXACTLY what I'm doing
@@rflats771 love it!
Got one diamond stone so old and warn out, inherited it from my uncle back in the mid 1990s. Thanks for the demo Erica.
Always great to see you here!❤
Great looking knife. Thanks for sharing the sharpening and God bless.
Thanks for stopping by my friend! Bless!🥰
I wish I could sharpen like you do, I always have trouble holding my angle correctly! Sharpening takes some patience, amazing job as always!! 😁
This is just microbeveling- anyone can do it!!!
I been getting pretty into sharpening lately...finally started getting some shaving edges, it's pretty addicting...

Orange is my FAVE!!! My ultimate kit would be 325,600,1000,5000,16000. You can do a LOT with that!
@@ericasedc is that 16000 or 6000?
