Incrid Dazer Not really. I mean, he started getting his tattoos back in the 70's (maybe 60's?) when very few people had them. It was mainly bikers, some rebels and military men. Then by the mid 90's it had become mainstream. I believe that's what he meant. It might have made you "unique" years ago, but not now. He did a PSA on not drinking (albeit court ordered) and you could say he's a hypocrite there, but at the same time, coming from someone who never drank a drop could sound hypocritical also.
Kind of a straw man but I get what he's saying. I don't know if I've ever met anybody who got tattoos for the sole purpose of being unique though.
Or just do what you fucking want and stop taking other people's advice and be yourself.
