I installed a Rough Country 4" long arm lift kit on my 03 WJ. I love it!! Drives like a dream, I actually think it handles better than stock. A great product and straight forward installation. Rough Country are also very good people to work with. Nice install slow restoration.

After putting a 3inch soacer kit on my 2000 wj all of my steering tie rod ends went to crap. I went through 3 fro t drive shaft cv kits. All of this was due to the angle differences and not being compensated for the lift difference. I know hae all new steering parts and front double Cardone shaft waiting to be installed. 260k miles in it and it and it still runs like the day i got it for $1000. Very reliable vehicale. As long as you keep up with oil changes and never floor it, it should last a long time

Grab a used one, double cardan style from a junk yard out of a 99-04 Grand Cherokee with the V8. You will also need the yoke for the transfer case as well as the yoke on the axle if you don't have the right one. Anything over 3 inches of lift and you won't be able to use the cv style without killing it.

This is just for anyone reading the comments, but AWD is not 4wd. With all the systems out there, the lines are real blurry now. Almost all the V8 WJ's are full time 4wd.. which is what should count as AWD, but it doesn't. I think there are some 2wd only models out there. I'm not sure on the 4.0's... never looked at 'em. All RC did with that stupid AWD comment is confuse the living shit out of people. Someone needs to call em up and give them an earful.
