- This is the finished video of the 2004 Suzuki GSXR 750 that I bought to completely Restore and try to make this 15 year old bike Look as new/ modern as possible.

My 05 r1 has been my main bike and I’ve owned it now 11 years. These bikes were and always are ahead of the times.

I have an 05 GSXR600 that i updated to look newer. You did a great job with that. It's my favorite year model.

no kidding, these things are super quick too. Keeps up with most 1000s until the mid 170s and an amazing track toy.
i started to cry when i heard this exhaust brings back some emotions.
I have ridden my 2005 GSXR 750 31,000+ miles over the last almost 6 years.
Flashed and remapped at 2wheels Dyno works
Every day I ride it I still get hyped by it .

Try to get the 2007 or newer those 05s have frame issues if not reenforced

Definitely information that seemingly is hard to come by.
I was working at a motorcycle repair shop up until few months ago (stepped into the electrical apprenticeship)
And of the many Gsx-R model bikes I saw
I didn't encounter frame/weld damage.

There was a 2019 Gsx-R 1000r that had slid out
And hit a curb in excess of 80 mph. Obviously the rear wheel and swingarm were junk
a significant amount of damage to the fairings but all in all the frame power plant and drivetrain were fine.
But that was the worst case scenario in that incident
most of the other GSXR bikes 750s and 1000's that came in were much more moderate or low threshold accidents
so it was usually just clip-ons mirrors and fairing
rear sets
that needed replaced.
Thanks for that info I certainly don't want to put myself on a bike that will inadvertently get me killed ☠️😳
However I love my '05 750 and I will continue to scavenge for parts😂😂😂

Same here I've owned mine since 07 over 30k on the clock still rides great.
IMO this model year looks better than most of the recent ones in the last couple of years.

I got bike fever 🤒 lolz, so I'm watching your video, I have a 2004 gsxr600 too,but in PA riding season kinda over,it's been crazy cold here,so I start it up once a week to put a smile 😃 on my face lol, but moving down to Southern GA,BUT NEVER BUT A EBAY STATER AND ebay RECTIFIER ON A SUZUKI their Sensitive lol ,i learned my lesson this past summer $50 truned into $1,500.....Put a m4 slip on and only $50 on ebay.. I was very skeptic but they sound amazing trust me its on mines ,BUT NICE BIKE BRO 🏍

Why don’t you go over the numbers? Not to boast or brag but to inform. I am getting into rebuilding and reselling bikes so knowing your strategy and how much you got the bike for, how much you put into it, and how much you sold it for would be very educational.
Very taboo topic when you talk about money on the internet. But let’s just say acquired for 1200 got 1650 into it. Sell for 4500-4900 the bike market in Florida is crazy high right now. And I stand behind anything I sell

I have the same bike and I'm 6'1. I fit perfect on my bike. The bike in the video is lowered in the front and maybe a bit in the back as well so I looks and is smaller
