being in the army this is something I can only do part time through an agency, so here it is, from my prospective and MY OPINION please remember that!!!!

I just passed my 3A and 3B tests at Leconfield army barracks in Hull. One of the most rewarding feelings, never thought I'd be capable of something like this. I had to drive 2 hours to get there and stay in a hotel for a week and a half, training driving the wagon 7am-5pm everyday and then finally my 3B road test on the last day at 8.30am. I was shaking, so much time and effort (and money for fuel and hotel fees) came down to this one hour driving test. I nearly lost it when he said passed lol
I did it through a company called mainstream group, I haven't paid a penny. Its all government funded, as apparently there is a deficit of 100k hgv drivers in the uk ATM.
Got my mod4 training and test 7 days from now, I gotta drive 2 hours back over to Hull, 1 more night in the hotel, then training 8am-12pm, then theyre doing tests between 12pm-4pm for me and 7 other pupils. Then that's it I'm good to go! So glad I googled free hgv training 10 months ago lol.
Life might be about to change for me, my wife and 4 children! No more minimum wage!

I came across your channel looking at trucking videos as I want to look into it as a new career ( I may be late to game as it were lol as I just turned 33 in Nov ) but I'm learning a lot about what you have to do to obtain the relevant licences and where to go and wotnot and shopping around for the best deals great job thank you :)

@@l.v9879 yes buddy !!! My first 2 blogs are about how I passed the theory!!! There’s an amazing app and just do what I did … make sure you can pass 3 times and then your be good to test …. Give it a watch mate there’s a few good tips on that one
