Wow Phil, that was very rare just like the 16 carriage V-set you recorded a few years ago, your videos are always amazing. You will get to 1M subscribers one day!
Hi Phil, this is definitely a "different" video, and with the coupling and decoupling of the Hsets. The coupling of the endeavour sets. The unusual movement of the Tsets and assorted action at Central Station, most of your older viewers will need a drink and a cigarette 😉😂. I am so pleased you didn't go to Railway Square and capture a bus mounting a kerb 😂. The beginning of your Xrated series 😂
It's been pretty interesting since the start of the year with quite a few interesting rail movements especially with 12 & 16 car set movements which are definitely pretty rare. There's one movement that happens pretty much everyday is a 6 car Endeavour that usually runs between Sydenham & Central Spotting a 4 car Tangara or two that's not running on the Waterfall to Port Kembla South Coast runs is also pretty rare now unless you see one or two in the yard or maintenance facility shunting
Do the trains in Sydney not do a "pull-away test" after coupling to prove that they've mechanically coupled properly? I know that here in the UK all trains were required to do so, not sure if they still have to. Desiro units over here automatically shut both cabs down once coupled.
There's been an update happening this month, i was scrolling on CZcams and there was a blue Mountain's Flyer, Steam Train's 3526 and 3265 did a blue Mountain flyer yesterday
Great video Phil. Firstly it was the 16 car v set now it’s the 12 car oscar!

It was a cool sight! Even though it only lasted 10 minutes lol.
1M would be incredible! :)
Very random, thanks Phil. 🔱🏳🌈
That 12 car Oscar remined me of the 16 car v set, what a rare sight

That 12-car OSCAR is almost as exciting as the 16-car V-set!

Last Thursday, I saw a random Richmond service at Central departing from platform 3, that was random af.
Oh that’s very interesting!
There may have been delays causing some services to terminate at Central Intercity
@@sydneytrainsvlogs Possibly, it was the only service departing from that platform at the time
Where were the tangaras going to and why did the oscars couple up as a 12 carriage train?

They do :)
Especially trains like the V Set
I was hopeing the endevor would couple to the oscar
Hey Phil! When will you be parramatta way? They started day time testing for light rail yesterday
0:44 19th century cemetry was under those platforms you're on.
And today's choice of coffee purveyor Phil? 🎉😅
Today was Subway Snacks 😁

That’s so cool!
What was the point to the Oscar’s moving around
Set swap as one must’ve been suffering issues
@@sydneytrainsvlogs makes sense
Is it true that when the D sets enter service and the Oscars move to the Suburban services will the K sets be retired
Phill! What If Sydney Light Rail Can have more lines like L4 L5 L6 L7 and that's literally it
Maybe there will be extra lines in the future :)

First a 16 car V set and now a 12 car H set😅
Hahaha an interesting sight!
What was the need for this maneuver? Were certain carriages due for maintenance? Disruption?
It’s all part of the timetable.
To do with many things like maintenance and set availability etc
What was all the shunting for?
It’s a normal thing that’s part of the timetable.
nice graffitis
