    Wow, trains can still accelerate at full speed in this kind of rain, awesome. (brakes not so much lol)
    Some cool shots in this video with the ultra-wide camera and track switching.

    How Australia runs their trains during heavy rain and thunderstorms. Than the UK that have their trains cancelled or delayed. I’m surprised that there isn’t no signalling problems. Some dramatic weather in Australia.

    • @aussiejohn5835
      @aussiejohn5835 Před 3 lety +2

      We do have some dramatic storms and signal problems do happen. I have been on the top deck during a severe hail storm and the sound was quite loud and dramatic. Services can be cancelled when equipment such as transformers are struck by lightning and the power fails. I have been on a train when the power failed during a hot summers day and I can tell you it was very unpleasant.

      This year they carried out technology testing on the t sets & you would noticed that the tangara desto would ve worked fine for the first time.but because they haven't worked for a long time.now they just doing more technology testing on their t sets a lot more.and you ll see them working properly in the future.they become like the waratah & millenium kind tangara.

    Today T13+T103 were on it, and last weekend operated by T90+T93, I think it might become a permanent edition to the weekend roster, or maybe because A59 has been out of service for a while, or they could be testing out T Sets for future sector 2 operation?

      The long term plan for the Tangaras is for all of them to be moved to the T4. Sector 3 will become entirely Waratahs, with Sector 2 being run by M, H and Waratahs.

    You know I recon it's time for Tangaras to start operating on Sector 2 full time again. Especially once the Oscars start doing suburban services following the NIF's takeover of Intercity services. I feel like the Oscars would replace at least half of the Tangara fleet on T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra line. Tangaras on Sector 2 are my childhood memories just like old silver sets on Sector 3.

    • @raph6931
      @raph6931 Před 2 lety +1

      Sector one will always be serviced by one type of rolling stock as its more efficient, so unless they can replace the entire Tangara fleet on the T4, it'll stay Tangara only
