- Jesus was not an Englishman. Of course, depicting Jesus as white was natural in the West, but a white Jesus and a white Church were then used to exploit other cultures, all in the name of God. But we are learning. Yes, we can unlearn racism, and we can learn new things from others.
In Australia this week, we celebrate our Aboriginal and Islander peoples, who have been here for 65,000 years. We celebrate the richness of their cultures. We celebrate their spirituality, their sense of community, and their wisdom.

Olives are green or black
They are talking about skin not food my dear...olive skin...according to bible...Jesus feet were like copper ..feet like it was burned in fire...brass.. so the color is close to copper, caramel or brass..and he had eyes of fire...light brown. Also Jesus did not have ....not pink , white or black skin..He was a copper tan man...A MAN OF COLOR....

Europeans, who have dominated the world through military force, use a white jesus to associate themselves with him and use that psychology to establish their hierarchy among all non-white groups. Justifying a skin color that we can’t tell from scripture should force us to see the spiritual importance, as we will all be one people in the kingdom, all able to speak the same language. Jesus most likely was of white skin. In the oldest pictures of Jesus He is white of skin. First of all Jesus was the Son of God but in His Human appearance looked like the Israelites the offspring of Abraham and Jacob.
