Oh Scott this is brilliant filming. The train on the bridge to Jersey
Knowing I will never be able to see in person, ever so loved to be able to see the residential side streets of Philadelphia in the summertime!
Mpls.👑
Scott you always have a way of brightening day with your videos! Music is dreamy.
Glad you enjoy it!
Love the old Philadelphia row houses and that great Fleamarket! Thanks for sharing
The Art Deco timer..wow..Poirot would love it
The thrift stores in my city of over 100,000 people rarely sell old things....most are 1980s or newer. You are so fortunate to live where you do!
Now I am intrigued what part oft of USA or world do you live in?
@@kathyhodges7054 I live in Canada.
I would have dug through the table cloths. Loved seeing the streets of Philadelphia. Thank you for taking us along,
Those old photos used to break my heart when I was thrifting. Forgotten people, bless them.
Thank you for the tour! Love the vintage neighborhood. I love the kitchen timer!
Scott one of my favorites of your videos. That ride on the way to shop with all the old buildings was wonderful. I have to say, all the linens @ the flea market, would've been a stop for me. It looked like some great old stuff. That monk set was precious. My most favorite thing? I got to hear at least 6 umm huhhs. Love it! Thanks for the fun.
A true delight 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!!
The wing tip shoes were so great 😃
My grandfather and father sported those! Absolutely classic
Love the tree lined streets
That was excellent Scott.Thank-you
What a beautiful antique store and flea market. Lot's of interesting things and thank you for sharing. Please Stay Safe, Happy And Healthy. Have A Wonderful Day
I love the old tunes. My friend and I used to go through old sheet music and he would play and we would sing. Some were used to put on a show at the town playhouse. Miss that.
I loved seeing all the old items❤. When you were driving alongside the train it felt like a race😁. Thank you for the visuals, the comments and that lovely old music. The funny thing is that I wasn't around when that music was popular, but somehow it makes me nostalgic!
What can I say Scott..that episode of you thrifting was absolutely fantastic !..the music and the craic from you .. absolutely brilliant!..love you Scott 🥰😘
I came for the thrifting and stayed for the music! Love your videos!
My local thrift shop calls old photographs "Instant Ancestors!" Loved your video!
Love that!!
Thoroughly enjoyed tagging along in flea markets to the old tunes. What an experience. I was super excited about that deco timer!!!!
I enjoyed the view of the city. I live on the other side of the country and have never been to the Northeast. I loved that old biscuit tin. That would have come home with me!
I'm glad you were driving, I would have gotten lost!---Oh no, I didn't get to read the inscription on that flashed glass pitcher, & it looked like a style I've not got in my collection.---I think you passed a footed Routette pattern drinking glass when you got past that pink pattern watzits.---A final comment on Swank glasses, feel free to buy singles at a great price & lot them up! Should be a winner for someone!
Those black and white shoes are everything!
lovely 50's linens
I waited for the cat…..just a great tour….thank you so much……m. Massachusetts
Jersey girl here... So I love when you go there. Cape May is so pretty. Christmas is lovely there. Was it a mayonnaise bowl or cheese and cracker? 🤣🤣🤣🤣Thanks once again for a fun video
No Taylor Pork Roll or Ham? What do you call it ham or pork? Love seeing the city so cool! Breakfast looked delish! ❤️
The one thing I miss and can't get in Maine is Taylor Ham!!! We used to roll thin slices around dill pickle spears. Sooo good snacking! There used to be a deli in Augusta but they always wanted to fry it first! Lol. TFS! 🧓😄😄
Had a Great time thrifting with you in this video and love the music adds to the fun antiquing it puts you back in time, thanks again
Lovely old tin
Totally agree about Riviera vs Fiesta Ware

That flea market stall had so much celluloid! 😍 My wallet would be crying if I happened upon that.
I enjoyed the ride. And I had that breakfast for dinner a couple nights ago. Had a side off hash browns with mine.
Absolutely loved the soundtrack. Really well done, Scott! I love how your videos evolve.
Thank you Scott. So funny with your videos😊.
Jersey bound 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
It is the 29th of November.A. rewatching this.Incredible buildings
Loved the scenic drive.
The black straw cloche hat, black/white spectator shoes, tilt frames..... "is the best time that I ever had."🎼 Scott, I tried searching the lyrics hoping to find the title of the song but to no avail. Loving that recording - any clue on the title?
Hum.....does not ring a bell.
All those linens 🤩💖
Those Grecian tumblers were give-always at a gas station chain where I lived. I have quite a lot of pieces to that, including the salad bowl in stand, footed desert cups and tumblers. Mine are white on a Wedgwood green painted background. I know they came in white and blue, as well as white and black, but our service station only had the green. I can’t believe I still have them.🖤🇨🇦
Hello Scott! Enjoyed the video. Hope you have a wonderful day today! 😁❤️
So many nice things, I'm always going to thrift stores too, find a lot of cool stuff.
I love that floor lamp!
I found a beautiful cut to clear lead crystal candy dish. Ran my fingers all around it at the store. Got it home, washed it, dried it , and noticed a big ol chip! Dang!
It has happened to us all.
Love the scenic drive. Great video
Love the music in your videos!!
Love to see tree lined streets
Must be hard to find a parking spot. Come to Minnesota I'll take you thrifting! 😊
Oh Scott! I love thrifting and reselling, but I also work a full time job in Corporate America 😫.
I’ve made a lot of mistakes purchasing low profit items. Now…if I can’t make $50+ profit - I don’t buy anything. That’s my threshold. It took me a while to find it, but it works for me. 🤷🏼♀️
YES....you understand the business! So many folks just don't understand or get a bit annoyed at me when I leave things behind. They just don't understand that buying a tea cup for $4 and selling it for $8 just won't pay the bills!
My hubby worked at Radio Shack High School. 😂😂😂😂
Surprised you didn't play "On the Way to Cape May"....another oldie but goodie!
Ham & Eggs at home all ways beat D&D.
@33:16 I see a wooden figurine with 2 Chow Chows. It's so cool. I'd like to have it I'm a fancier with one real very good boy.
Thank you 🙏
Great video
Riviera was not marked because it was made for the Newberry department store it was based on a line called Century which was marked
"I hope the Wiener Schnitzel was good"❗😄 Useless information: In the former GDR, they coated a thick slice of "Jagdwurst" in breadcrumbs, fried it and served it with noodles and tomatoe-sauce. 🤔 Well, now you know❗👆 You could use ham🍖, as well...😁
those drinks glasses were expensive even for the buyer, i would leave quickly lol
The only place to find items older than the 70s is estate sales where I am. Would never find it at big box thrift stores.
Cat did come in black!
💕
New sub ! Liked 🙏👏☀️😊
Thanks and welcome
New sub! Liked 😀😃😄
Thanks for subbing!
I think the carved wood vase is carved Olive wood from the Holy Land........
Mr.Scott, Thank You So Very Much For The 4th Of July Holiday Parade, & The Organ Music!! I haven't been up in that area since July 1981. A couple Of Big Whigs by the names of Schwartz & Genotti walked into a small Delicatessen Restaurant that, My Aunt & I were in at the time. They came in sat down, ate, & left. We sat down, ate & left. It wasn't too far from the Court House. They were on trial for something or other. I can't Honestly remember for what now! It's been too many years! Anyway, by the time we returned home, they had been charged & convicted, & sentenced & put in jail. We did see a lot of stuff while I was there visiting that summer. Hope You, Your Friends, & Family, Had A Wonderful & Safe Holiday!! It was just my Husband & I We Made A Meal, relaxed, I did some cleaning before & during. We watched the Fireworks on Channel 11. Then We retired for the night! Thank You Again! Carol & David Riley, From: Pittsburgh, Pa.
Thank you Carol!
And it tells you how bad shape Radio Shack was in. They were still selling 25 year old stock in 85.
I couldn’t find the stopper in the trash bags 🙁 I remember it had a seam around the middle. Did yours have one or solid? The Fenton perfume bottle.
There is only one reason to buy that pyrex. If the price is right and you need the lids.
That last lady, with the lap blanket - "You KNOW! I don't like buttercream!" ;) ..... "Dogs, Ducks, and Miscellanous" .... a collector is found murdered amongst his treasures. Whodunit? The reseller trying unsuccessfully to buy him out? The wife, desperate to get rid of dustcatchers? Stay tuned .....
Can you walk across the. Benjamin Franklin bridge?
Indeed you can!
Greetings, what store was the first one you visited in New Jersey 🙃❓❓❓❓
A Goodwill in Pennsauken.
replace all the new cars with 1940’s vehicles and you are stepped back in time….
Scott, a woman named Rosa put 2 totally inappropriate chats on your live! I removed them! People today are so nasty! I hate she picked on you! No class did this woman have!
Thank you!!!!!
2 days in Atlantic City and back home to hot and humid Delco …… Yea and more adventure’s with Scott from his old Curiosity shop. ❤️ traveling through Philly with you. Come on Scott you need to get creative and talk those old Pyrex collectors into the new old tye dyed collection 🤣.loved the linens I decorate with vintage fabric /sheets on my Haywood Wakefield 1970’s dark wood tressel table. (Note to every H.W. Blonde furniture collector from the 1930s their dark wood collection was a FLOP and can be bought cheap.) lots of homer Laughlin was never marked in the 1930s. ❤️🤍💙
