Lovely Telescope furniture! It’s high quality stuff to this day. My husband and I received a patio set as a wedding gift 💝 Note Granville where it is made is the next town over from where I live in Salem and Hubby even worked for them for a short period of time. Cool to see some old chairs. 😃

Great find Vinnie for the Ikea bags.I use the smaller one for a clothes peg (pin I think you call them)bag.I put it on my shoulder and put my hand in to get a peg,It saves walking back or sliding a coat hanger style bag along the line.

Vinny has the right idea. There are few stores now that are giving bags away for your purchases. Did you plan to make boxes and wrapping materials available for your friends? Watching Philly Steak sandwiches being eaten, yum yum, haven't had one in many years!
We provide our own packing materials when we come to Philadelphia & we don’t expect Scott to provide us with anything. He’s an amazing host.
I provided all of the boxes and I printed out the packing labels. We all purchased some extra packing materials to share.
I immediately thought about shipping that book press...I'm looking forward to hearing the outcome!
It's already on the way to Texas! FedEx Ground boxed it and shipped it yesterday! David is thrilled!

Ha ha honestly I personally don't buy and sell much Stangle but the patterns are pretty. I can't speak for the others but I do remember one of us picking it up off camera and talking about stangl. I love the town and country line!

Scott, isn't it astonishing that the old Windsor chair with the finish rubbed off its arms languishes in the shop at the insanely low price of $40? I read a Reddit post that had about a thousand people weighing in about how interest in old brown furniture is waning, some people saying that their grown children weren't interested in the family heirloom furniture. Some said that after the kids declined it they tried to sell it and couldn't, no takers. Makes me wish I had a bigger house so I could surround myself with more old brown furniture.

I NEVER buy packing materials. There’s already so much out there in the world. I always recycle ♻️ and never have any issues. 😉
That is awesome! Because I ship thousands of packages a year....I have no choice. I too recycle as much as I can and as often as I can.
Nothing wrong with recycling materials. But sometimes you run out and have to buy some. Trust me, for my live sales and eBay sales I reuse everything I get when I shop.

Really enjoyed the sale last night and just got this notice this morning. I told my sister I want to go into Atlanta thrift shopping sometime soon as they have the bigger better stocked stores than out here in the boonies where I live.

I HAVE SEVERAL TELESCOPE OUTDOOR CHAIRS. They are in perfect condition, because they have never been left outdoors to store them.
Wow! Telescope Folding Furniture Company changed their name to Telescope Casual Furniture, their entire catalog is archived online! (If you can believe that, 1927 thru current). Those chairs look to be from the 1970 Catalog , piece NO.582 - Poly Varnish Folding Arm Chair. The ones you found appear to be missing the cushions! (corrected, the back legs are different than the early version 1965 posted earlier)

We have a great time! We did have some nonsense moments, that’s what happens when friends get together. Impossible to be “serious” all of the time.

The cats are from the sixty's. I had them but my siamise cat broke them.
The pottery cats are dated on the bottom 1957 and also contain the back stamp of the maker. 😀. I can’t believe your cat broke the cat!!!!!!

My daughter’s best friend (and my child that I didn’t have to give birth to 😉) lives in South Philly. I have always wanted to make it up to Philly AIDS thrift shop, how are the prices there?
They seem reasonable and things do go on sale after so many days on the shelf.

I'd have to disagree with you. I thought Pat's was pretty good.
Actually it was left up to them. I personally seldom every eat cheese steaks. :) One of their family members suggested Pats so that is what they picked. I'm more of a 4th street Deli kind of guy! I have driven past John's a million times and have never stopped. I think in my 20 years living in Philly I've eaten about 5 cheese steaks total. How often do you eat them, Margaret? :)
Where was this "Voted Best" at? The Philadelphia Inquirer? I'll have to read this for myself. Personally, I prefer hot pockets.
