- Bulawayo is Zimbabwe's second largest city and the capital of Matabeleland, home of the Ndebele tribe.
#Bulawayo is a city in southwest Zimbabwe. It’s a gateway to Matobo National Park, home to the Matobo Hills rock formations and Stone Age cave art. Park wildlife includes rhinos and black eagles. Nearby, Tshabalala Game Sanctuary has zebra and impala. West of Bulawayo, the ruins of 15th-century Khami city comprise stone walls and terraces. Bulawayo’s Natural History Museum of #Zimbabwe displays finds from the site.

Great videos @African Tigress. The Cresta Churchill is done in what is called the Tudor style which was popular in Britain in the Middle Ages. So yes, it is ancient.
I would stay in Bulawayo. I am afraid of the weather though. I hear its sizzling hot there
no
why live in a fort
Yes
@@brendonruzha15 not true, its obviously hotter than Gweru but on average almost the same as Harare in temperature, only that Harare is wetter (rains more). Bulawayo isnt even half as hot as places like Hwange, Victoria Falls, Beitbridge, Binga, Kariba. Unless if you mean "hot women"
As a South African I wouldn't mind living in Zimbabwe. It's beautiful and peaceful
Beautiful ! Jacarandas out and the bush waiting for the rains ! !
OMG OMG Bulawayo Bulawayo, from today I'm stopping listening to people. The city of my people xhosas, tswanas, ndebeles and sothos. OMG BULAWAYO. LOVING U EVERYDAY. CLEAN CLEAN AND VERY BEAUTIFUL
Bulawayo to the world! 🙌🏿
@@AFRICANTIGRESS all thanks 2 you ,thank u sisi,I did not know bulawayo and Victoria falls town ,ALL these two towns are beautiful and clean, thank u again african tigress .
By now it should be the city of all of us. Including The Shona, Whites, Indians, Coloureds....

Southern Africa is my favourite part of Africa. Just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!
I grew up in Khumalo, Bulawayo and my parents still there. Saw many of my friends houses you passed by. Imagine, it takes a Kenyan to showcase our beautiful land. Zimbabweans caught up in arguments over politics on social media.
We are too bitter tbh, corruption has dealt with us
I actually grew up in Kumalo and still staying there a vry quiet neighborhood indeed
Wow, I think I would like to stay in Khumalo. Kudos to Bulawayo City Council. The City is beautiful
Absolutely beautiful 👌🏿
For me Bulawayo us the best city in the world. My heart will always be in Bulawayo.
Thank you African Tigress for showing us such a beautiful country - Zimbabwe
Wow this place is gorgeous, it looks like Orange County in LA or Beverly Hills in San Francisco. As a native of Chicago, this place resembles north of Chicago, places like Lake Forest, Highland park, Glenview, Skokie and Winnetka. Zim is really beautiful, I am considering to buy a house there.
Much love from Chicago.
From next year onwards Zim won't be having anymore power outages. They are currently working on so many energy projects that will be completed next year,so they will be having so much surplus Power, they will be exporting to other Countries. So no need to worry about power outages in Zim,coz it will stop next year.Zim is poised to become the energy hub of Africa, they are also building the biggest Steal Plant in the whole of Africa,so big things are happening. We can say that after 2 decades of stagnation and bad publicity, the Crown jewel of Africa is ready to shine again,ZIM4EVER.
@@lemigod4475 Say no more with all the Chinese investments. We're told they own half of Zimbabwe & Zambia.
**When we bid goodbye to Byo-Zimbabwe & now in the diaspora - (living a very simple but peaceful lifestyle) - leaving all we spent our lives building & lost - never to glance back in that direction - we meant everything within our inner being. Nothing would entice us back to that place - sadly. 😔👋

One thing I realise is Zimbabwe is so underpopulated, low traffic volume and huge potential to develop much faster...seems everything is in the right place apart from politics...
Wow Jacaranda time in October.. Hillside the area of my ancestors.
They population went to mzansi they will be back one day.
Yes Zim has much more open spaces than other African nations. In fact most Southern African nations like Namibia,Botswana,Mozambique and Zimbabwe have low population density.
And don't forget we are in lock down as well.

Zimbabwe was on pause for a long time. As our country gets on its feet very soon we will be ahead of all those who mocked us.
Nonsense!!!!get back are you crazy????zim will never ever get better not a single day in our life time!!!!instead it will go for the worst!!!!!!
Love your culture as people.
Tourists can't come to Africa to see black Europeans or some kind of confused seed.
Zimbabwe is beautiful but stop this confusion and be the children of your forefathers and the world will be flooding to your gates to see you.
Zimbabweans in the 90s used to mock and laugh at West Africans, Zambians and Mozambicans. We used to live there, now the tables have turn. Black Zimbabweans for some reason used to think they were Europeans. That country has no culture.
@@nykwarti You must be kidding me. We Zimbabweans have different cultures and pride ourselves of speaking our languages. Even our kids speak our own languages unlike some African countries were most of their people speak European languages.
African Tigress, I so hoped to meet you but life took me elsewhere for a minute. Enjoy the City of Kings and Queens. Let's continue to spread the message, Africa is indeed beautiful.💓💓
Hope we meet soon in a different country Kaya 💕
I actually had sent you some message

Yes indeed African is so beautiful 😘
I once drove to Botswana Bulawayo border but had turn back to Botswana because in Zimbabwe there was no fuel and that was after me crisscrossing Botswana. It was when they took back the land. That how I missed visiting Zimbabwe up to now. I was headed to Kenya through Zimbabwe, Malawi and Tanzania. Thanks for showing me the place. My intention was to visit these countries. I still have to visit these countries. I had to go back all the way back to Botswana and then through Kasungura to Zambia then to Tanzania.

Zimbabwe is a beautiful country Thank you AT and Claudia job well done..siyabonga
Dear Tigress, no one calls them compounds around here. You're in the suburbs and an individual property is simply called a house with a yard. Compounds sounds like people live in a prison lol
I think compounds is what they say in the rest of africa except kwetu in southern Africa
The Jacaranda trees are everywhere beautiful
They're absolutely beautiful and make the streets look aesthetically pleasing.
Jacaranda - right up there for most beautiful tree in the world contender.
There are a lot of similarities between these suburbs & some suburbs in Lusaka & Ndola in Zambia. Bulawayo is my kind of city.
There was the same country ( Zimbabwe and Zambia)

Suggestion noted for a future video. Thank you.
Those Jacaranda trees always made my heart race..... them blossoming meant that exams were just a few weeks and l would ask myself if l had done enough to pass
Same for me in Kenya. A blooming jacaranda meant exams are near.

Love the jacaranda trees in Zim,there are abundant in all cities.
Kumalo where my family lives , where I grew up Fletcher Avenue . Bulawayo known for the beautiful Jacaranda trees. After independence houses in Kumalo were very cheap, around $40000 USD. So my parents worked like slaves in New York then we moved back to Zim after independence.
Your parents live in Bulawayo now? It's a beautiful city.
Yes my mom lives in Kumalo ,my father is late.
It's Khumalo not kumalo
I have always left the “H” out for some reason, even when I’ve sent mail to my parents. I guess in over 40 years the mailmen figured it out. Correction “Khumalo” the suburb close to Ascot.

@@aao449 Plus the bad leaders are fazing out and gradually being replaced by Progressive leaders. In Zimbabwe for example,Covid has forced a reshuffle of the Cabinet since many old fellas sucumbed to Covid,so they have been replaced by fresh minds and the changes are already showing. So the future looks bright for Zimbabwe and also Nigeria.By the way,I took a DNA test about 3 years ago and I had a healthy percentage of Nigerian blood from my mother's side of the family. In fact Many Zulus in South Africa have Nigerian DNA in them but they don't know it.Many Bantus from West Africa arrived in Southern Africa in about 200AD and they teamed up with other Bantus arriving from the Great Lakes. So its a small world after all.Even Juloius Malema has repeatedly reminded South Africans that their ancestors originated in West Africa. The Aboriginal people of Southern Africa are the Khoisan people.

You are right Bulawayo is mini clean jozi on sunday. The language, culture, music and currency almost the same.
Zimbabwe is Zimbabwe defined by its borders. South Africa is South Africa also defined by its borders. Nothing extended or overlapping there. Otherwise you will as well start claiming eSwathini to be an extension of RSA which it is not!
