Everything in Jon's body language and eyes say he's a bit unhinged and loves hurting people. Some guys get excited and emotional, aggressive etc.. Charged up and no wonder it's human instinct before confrontation.
Jon on the other hand is unbelievably calm and calculated. Someone quietly, calmly telling what they are about to do is much scarier than someone shouting and acting aggressive. Really don't fancy Reyes' chances in this one.
