Thanks to USADA Jones didn't have his precious juice, he got less confident the closer he got to the fight because he remembered...oh yeh. He didn't even want to look Reyes in the face. His performance in this fight was pitiful. Reyes whooped his ass every round and Jones squeezed in a few takedown attempts and got the win. You have to knockout a champion to get the belt.

Great fight! Rayez was a worthy opponent. I think that part of the scoring decisions comes from the fighter who initiate attacks/ moves toward / control the area of the octagon/ mental control/ courage. These elements are often invisible to the audience. I think because we visually experience the striking, and that’s a big factor of the fight, yet not the only thing to be considered. Dom gave jones his toughest fight, going into the 4th round i saw it going Dom's way but jones dominated the final rounds. Dom didn't do enough to win, he did great but not great enough. Close though

I think its a risk for the business side if they start letting people win championships like that. And as we saw Reyes got knocked in the fight after. You have to TAKE the belt, like REALLY take it to progress.

Jones even though losing the first 3 rounds showed why he is champion in the last 2 rounds. Have to do something special to take the belt from jone. Example - knock him out within the first or second round. Don't leave it to the judges.

Thanks to USADA Jones didn't have his precious juice, he got less confident the closer he got to the fight because he remembered...oh yeh. He didn't even want to look Reyes in the face. His performance in this fight was pitiful. Reyes whooped his ass every round and Jones squeezed in a few takedown attempts and got the win. You have to knockout a champion to get the belt.

I think that part of the scoring decisions comes from the fighter who initiate attacks/ moves toward / control the area of the octagon/ mental control/ courage. These elements are often invisible to the audience. I think because we visually experience the striking, and that’s a big factor of the fight, yet not the only thing to be considered.

Tbh if ur fighting a champion, in order to overtake him you need to dominate over 50% of the fight if it goes the distance. The scoring was good. Reyes didnt KO him, didnt take him down or subdue him. Jones kept him at distance albeot close.

No you don't. You have to win on the 10 point must system. It doesn't matter if you are the champ or the opening fight in the card. Reyes won the first 3 rounds, he outstruck him, he defend all the takesowns, and was the aggressor. Jones won the 4 and 5 on being the aggressor and getting takedowns? Those rounds are extra points, its not like its 12-9 compared to 10-9 lol. Reyes was robbed more than Max vs Volk 2
